I haven’t bought either of them yet (as there are SO many games and DLC sales that I’ve been ibterested in since they came out), however, I plan on buying both of them eventually, just to support IOI.
I actually really like the designs in the Street Art pack as well.
“A concealable pistol. Ergonomically designed to pass pat-downs and frisking attempts. Utilizes caseless ammunition and cannot be reloaded while in the field.”
Gee, I sure hope somebody got fired for this blunder.
Hey, if you need more than five shots in a game where only two missions have more than four targets (Patient Zero/Hokkaido and Apex Predator/Berlin), then you’re pretty much lousy at shooting anyway and it doesn’t matter if you can’t reload.
I think the point InfrarerSun tried to make is how the 5mm was shown with a reload using a magazine in the trailer when it is explicitly said you cannot reload it.
In the game there is no load, and no eject. It’s ‘pew, x5’ and then it becomes nothing more than a portable noise distraction item (given you “shoot” it out of view) due to the click of the hammer. Before this trailer, there was never so much as a hint that the gun used a magazine. It’s the trade-off for its smuggle’ability past frisking checkpoints.
The vid shows this magazine going up inside the handle/magazine well. It’s as if whoever made that trailer has never actually played the game and was more worried about it looking technical.
Unless they’re privy to greater details than us mere players. Like if they were able to look at the polygonal model and there actually is a magazine with the mesh that’s in the game.
Not that it matters, but in H1, if it was picked up and put away by an enforcer - it would reload the gun that way. Unless they “fixed” that with an update.
And in H2 you did get more ammo when it was smuggled in… Or brought in with a briefcase -one.
Unless that was another gun.
I wonder if they based the trailer on how the Scrap Gun/5mm worked in Freelancer before the May patch, where in the shooting gallery you could reload the gun when it ran out
