Oh yes, I’m not mad at them, I just don’t like most of the items in both packs, and I think the style is very much not fitting for the series. (Still planning on buying them for multiple reasons, one of them being that I expected to pay for this game mode anyway.)

I know the background to the ducks, and the briefcase is obviously a nod to an inside joke.
These packs are alright, the concrete art ones definitely fit into Fortnite or something. The Makeshift ones are more unique and have a good look to them (e.g. some of them have the texture of being 3D printed). I don’t mind them existing because well, they need to make money some how considering Ambrose and Freelancer was released for free.

Yeah, the makeshift weapons are sort of ok, they kinda fit the Freelancer improvisation theme (furniture is still rubbish though, judging by the screenshots). The concrete pack just really doesn´t fit though (though I´m sure there are people who love this kind of style) and feels odd to include in the mode, especially since the Ornamental/Ancestral weapons are really nice.
Well, cosmetic DLCs are probably my least favourite of all (especially in single player games) and are a trend that should really finally die (at least in single player games), and I would´ve probably preferred just paying that money directly for Ambrose and Freelancer (on the other hand, having purchased H3 twice, I´m glad they were free).
That being said, I´ll buy the packs regardless, sooner or later, cause, you know…

Just bought the two packs. We got a free map last year and a new mode with an amazing player home, so I don’t mind supporting.
With that said, if there are more DLC coming I would appreciate it if they made more sense to the franchise.
The grafitti pack really missed the mark for me and I mostly bought it so I can have a complete collection in freelancer (which kinda sucks).
The Makeshift pack is great though, love the look of the sniper. Would be even greater if we could build these weapons at the base

Am I the only one who loves the street art pack lol, the makeshift pack is ok but I’ve just been flipping between that amazing graffiti coat & the gaudy golden jacket this whole time
None of the safehouse decorations though, I’ve gone for plants everywhere

I bought both packs on PS4 only received partial gear
Only partial gear in Freelancer? Because you only get one gun and the suit from each pack initially. The rest of the guns get added to the pool of weapons that you can buy from Suppliers in missions.

It’s a pretty nice looking trailer, but I don’t know why it was made now over 6 months after the pack was released. Maybe it hasn’t sold well and they want to publicize it more? Maybe since they’re investing more resources to Hitman to make The Drop they also decided to take the time to make the trailer?

Suprised that they dropped the trailer for the months after the dlc release.

With The Drop drop, maybe it’s their way of trying to further entice new players. I guess that could work. And I would be more interested in the makeshift stuff, personally. Surely they’ll advertise that here in a minute.

I bought them to support the company mainly, and I think they look alright for what they are. They’re also a helluva a lot more consumer friendly compared to other companies. This would easily be at least $20 if it came from Activision or EA, so the fact that they’re only $5 actually encourages me to buy it lol
