New Elusive Target: THE SPLITTER (December 12th, 2024 - January 12th, 2025)

Nah mate I’ll repost it.

Still, this would be the third Hitman 3 Target based around close-quarters combat. Which still isn’t a lot in the grand scheme of ETs but weird that it’s happened 3 times…

If this involves actual 47 fist-fighting/karate chopping, then cool, because we didn’t get that with The Rage.

But also, we just got a new ET involving a 47-Target fight, so… idk.
It’s all too early to leave impressions anyhow

It’s the harness from the guard disguises, sans radio (or using the smaller model like in Mendoza)
Every details match, even the ones behind the text.

Sorry to say, but I’m skeptical about the Ralph Macchio idea. Just pointing out some fine details.

But, I mean, it’s still possible that it could be him. The silhouette could be an in game (polygonal) model and not 100% accurate to the actual person. I’m just saying that the 2 pics shouldn’t be used to “confirm” who it will be.

Ralph’s pic on the left is straight on from the side, while the ET is slightly turned. This | compared to this \ if we were viewing from a top-down perspective.

My reaction when I make the the most out of left field prediction and the Hitman community runs with it:

It likely is an in-game model if @LandirtHome is correct about the tac vest thing, also the bandana does seem to match where it would be in-game as a karate gi would essentially just be a reskin of the Hokkaido chef outfit:

New prediction from Swangtheugly, the target is that cat! Is that a famous cat?

:grinning:

That’s definitely my neighbor Wayne. He’s always bragging about his log splitter and wearing a cheap headband that he won at the carnival that has “Banzai” written on it. He’s kind of a knob, so I won’t mind killing him. Maybe then I can get back the rake he borrowed like 2 years ago. Wait…kill him with the same rake…genius. Poetic justice at its finest. This December, Wayne is going down.

So, I found one other disguise that has the same silhouette. Even a bit better, since the fleece collar fits on the back, and so does the shorter antenna.
The Providence Elite Guard from Carpathian Mountain.

(Can you imagine if the suit unlocks ends up having the same armored perk as the Providence Commando/the Armored Knight)

So, the next CelebET is Usyk? Unexpected

Maybe I’m overanalizing a bit, but doesn’t it kinda look like these two are looking at each other? Do you think this target will be somehow connected to the previous one? Maybe that mission will explain the ending cutscene of The Disruptor.

Actually we did. And i lost cuz he was too strong.

Way too political for it to actually be the target (and the silhouette doesn’t fit), but the other day I saw mention of a book called The Divider and thought of this ET speculation thread.

I have found a third base outfit that has the teaser silhouette. And matches even more.

The CICADA elite uniform, ie the Biolab Security from Sapienza, or the Dartmoor ending cinematic team sans balaclava.

Could the Splitter be a reference to splitting DNA?
(Obviously linked to Cicada, Grey, Providence cloning and memory implant, and Ether.)
(all for a tease of a Mongolia Cicada Facility/Ether Secured Storage map :stuck_out_tongue: )
(and finally the rescue and return of Grey in the end. Reasonably.)

(I’m still more into the meaning of either a split team/splinter group, or of martial/marksmanship prowess nickname)

If the name is actually a typo on “Splinter” and it’s a martial artist, all evidence point to the target being the Ninja Turtles’ rat sensei.

The silhouette on the picture doesn’t resemble Grey at all. And I know him by heart, I would always recognise him, even if it’s just his silhouette

Unfortunately that’s not him… :pensive:

Gotta be honest; if we’re gonna go off of anyone’s intimate knowledge of Grey’s silhouette, if @Mini says it’s not Grey, I’m gonna conclude that it’s not Grey.

I was thinking more of the target being part of the Cicada team with a mix of Ether/ex-Providence; a sort of specialised on-field emergency retrieval role as part of their DNA storage and experimentation program.
But still his own person.

It won’t happen because celebrET, and the story seems over. But I like to muse over.

We could probably make a poll for what we think ‘Splitter’ refers to. So far the guesses are…

  • A martial arts practitioner that killed one or more people that’s on the run from justice.
  • A scientist who splits the personality of his victims in order to trigger them to unwillingly commit crimes as a patsy so they take the fall.
  • A scientist who is conducting gene splitting experiments…

That last one could probably be better defined in regards to how it qualifies him as having a contract put on him. Or it could be ‘just because’. :man_shrugging:

Sorry if I missed anything.

A 4th choice could be ‘Other…’ if anybody has any other ideas. I’m not making a poll in this post since polls can’t be edited.
