Player-Made Elusive Contracts (All Platforms)

Followed all the rules.

Neat little contract. I would have been faster had I not gotten lost in the mansion and spent most of my time climbing around the outside (cut out of the video).

I enjoyed it so much (and was surprised to see mijlo with a 5-minute score) that I decided to see how fast I could run it. This is the result (with a few failures to start):

I brought a sedative syringe, but totally forgot that I couldn’t pacify anyone. Luckily I didn’t use it.

Really strange how the one target didn’t go check any of my distractions with the propane tank in the normal run, but on my speedy one he goes to check on the first try. wtf man

I followed the rules
Urgh. Ragequit this time. Emetic syringed the staff room guy as he ran away panicked - I guess that doesn’t work? It never took effect, and I got spotted when I tried to panic him again to get him to run away.

Seemed like a fun setup! I’ll probably go back and finish it once I calm down.

I followed the rules.

4/5 stars. I think I would have gotten 5/5 if I’d just kept my cool at the end and shot the propane tank a second time, but I did derive some satisfaction from Gardener 47 killing his target with a garden fork, so never mind. lol

Nice contract.

Yeah, I think the garden fork guy was the one you were supposed to blow up with the propane, so that objective is failed. Nice kill set-ups though. Good job

Well we’re basically there, so unless there is a last minute challenger, it’s safe to say well done @mijlobbetiw

hope you’re happy

@TheContractor Hey, at least it was quick, right?

Without further ado, your newest assignment has arrived, agents!

Grand Theft Bike-o

Good evening 47,

Our client had his motorcycle stolen three months ago, and the culprits
went unpunished. While attending a rave, he could have sworn he saw
some familiar faces through a window. He wants the culprits
eliminated in such a way that authorities will never suspect a thing.
Also, he asks for the retrieval of his bike.
Be swift about it, the members of this gang are known to move location a lot,
so we do not know how big our window of oppurtunity is.
Good luck.

Extra objectives/restrictions:

  1. You must escape via motorcycle
  2. You may not bring any tasers (EMP’s are fine). I really hate to restrict choice in such a way, but bringing tasers is a bit too easy for my tastes.

I accidentally failed to set the required exit, and instead of uploading two almost identical contracts to the server, (so maybe don’t blow it up). I am pretty sure that the required exit thing was a bit weird anyways surrounding that bike, so maybe it’s for the best (probably not though :stuck_out_tongue: ). If you do not know where the keys are, they are in the “chill room” of the biker hangout. In fact, everything you need should be in the hangout somewhere.

I added anti-gun and taser complications in the hope to discourage people from certain strategies that would trivialize the contract a bit too much for my taste. I believe there are still at least two possibilities per target, so I hope that it is not too hard and of course that it is fun!

(Again, sorry for all the complications, maybe I will make a more natural contract next time)

ID: PS4: 2-29-4272041-33
PC: 1-29-5808185-00 (Thanks @sapors !)
Deadline: 25th of March, 21:00 UTC

Information for recreation (Let’s hope that @Beldingford doesn’t have to do the recreation again):

Target locations:

One in the chill room next to the bike keys, and two walking around the garage where the exit is (one starting next to the chill room, at a gasoline drum, the other working at a desk)

Complications:

Perfect Shooter + Headshots only

PS: The Biker disguise is a standard biker (not an agent). Sorry for not mentioning this earlier (I don’t think anyone got screwed over by this, so this should not be unfair)

I know that comment totally wasn’t for my benefit, because I know where everything is at all times. My map knowledge is almost superhuman. But thank you for letting all the other players know. They really do need the help.

Yeah I’m wishing for someone else to do it again.

@Beldingford you should be all good to go. Cheers to the wonderful @sapors over on the discord for the recreation :green_heart:

Thanks! However…
I’m ashamed but I failed this one miserably, don’t even really want to share the video. :joy: I managed to drown the guy you start next to as a biker by luring him with coins, but I didn’t remember that one target was an enforcer. I could have saved that better than trying to kill him with the oil drum by blowing up a duck next to it (which didn’t work lol). A firefight ensued and I died, feck.
It doesn’t always go like in the movies. :upside_down_face:

Urgh, messed this one up hard. Got spotted by that Agent who strolls around the juice bar area, shot cameras (failing that complication), misremembered Poisonings counting as accident kills - I guess that part’s only for finding bodies, not for Contracts.

Maybe next time, I’ll get 'em…

I followed all the rules…
I also seem to be the only one who has made it out alive. My Score? Zero Points (but imma debate that in a sec)

Gosh this was a hard one. The no-gun restriction I think was a bit much, but adding on a headshot thing on top of that was too far, IMO. Made me lose the Objectives bonus even if my targets died in the proper way.
Also, today I learned Car Batteries don’t ignite oil puddles.
And that my target just ate my car battery! What kind of magician act was that, he just made it dissappear! I needed that!! :weary:
(…I really should have started in the Biker hangout. Somehow I thought I’d easily be able to get in as a bartender and poison some drinks.)

Can I appeal that I at least get granted the ‘No Noticed Kills’ bonus? (20k points).
I drowned 2 of the targets, I didn’t kill a non-target, the last guy blew himself up… But why didn’t I get that one stack of points? I swear I should have!
The rest looks valid. I didn’t get the objectives bonus because a dart didn’t hit someone’s head, I was spotted multiple times, a KOd body was found, recordings were left, etc. (meant to use the EMP for that, but I was focused on staying alive at the end).

This contract is apparently pretty hard, with three good agents failing.

@TheChicken For what it is worth, I did not know that car batteries didn’t ignite gas leaks either (but they certainly ignite gas drums). It’s not like that strat was among my intended strats, but I did think it was possible, so that’s a bummer :frowning:. I also can see how the complications are a bit much to say the least, so I’ll probably be a bit more forgiving next time. Props to you for seeing the complications and still risking a Sieker strat! .

And with regards to the no noticed kills, I can’t find anything odd in your footage, so I am very much inclined to agree with you. There is a small cut after your first kill, so I can not 100% confirm it, but it is pretty much impossible that that kill was noticed, and as you did not kill non-targets, logically you would probably be correct . I could however imagine that giving points outside of the game might be too much of a hassle. I’ll see what other people think about this (of course watching the footage AFTER they attempted the contract).

EDIT: I do now see that I had a disguise restriction in the contract, and that was honestly unintended. Oh well

Thanks for the tip on gas drums. Honestly, I think they should ignite gas leaks if it can do the same for drums, but the puddle for the bike might be small enough that it can’t trigger it. (maybe it would work if the battery flipped upside down, with the sparks coming out the bottom) :man_shrugging:

Yeah, sorry, I just noticed that too. Logically though, yeah, that should be an unnoticed kill as well. No one was chasing after me after I’d drowned the first guy.
If you look at the stats screen at the end, you can see the first guy must have been unnoticed, since I got 15xp for Unnoticed kills. Divide that by 3 and, well… (also 10xp for melee kills for the drowning and 5xp for the one explosion kill)

Now I’m thinking: and I don’t remember this ever being the case – maybe it changed with Hitman 3 – but maybe me losing “no noticed kills” was due to knocking out NPCs in full view of others. That shouldn’t remove the noticed KILLS bonus, but that’s the only explanation I have for this outside of it being a bug.

“No noticed kills” seems bugged since I’ve lost it for bullshit reasons too (but only if the run wasn’t SA anyway).
My failure was just my own stupidity because I probably could have still SA’d the run because the only one who spotted me was the target and for some reason I just tried to do a kill that didn’t work and messed up everything. :joy: Next time better I guess.

I think you’re right. I haven’t watched your video yet, but I was curious, so I fired up Paris, pushed Dalia onto Viktor (always a good time) and then made a save (with SA, of course) right before exiting in the basement.

When I punched a chef in clear view of another chef, I lost never spotted, no bodies found and no noticed kills. When I lured one of the chefs away and punched him in the face without anyone else around, I lost never spotted and no noticed kills.

…So people can now see themselves get KO’d or die. Wonderful.

Okay, I tried this just now, except for KO/Kill in front of another person.

It really seems like this is a weird new bug. People can see themselves get knocked out. Yikes.

I’m gonna report this in the bug thread

Oh, thank God. I noticed this last week, but thought I was going crazy and further misremembering the rules.

I followed the rules.

3/5 stars. Far from perfect, but I’m in the lead. Whoop!

I foolishly forgot about the no-gun restriction halfway through the contract, and my first kill violated the disguise requirement – but the latter wasn’t my fault. As you can see from the video, I was wearing a biker disguise, but apparently biker disguises taken from ICA agents are invalid. Boo.

Nice contract. Stolen bike retrieved. I’m amazed I found the keys, honestly, even with explicit directions.
