Please don’t hate me for this one…
cha·me·leon: one that is subject to quick or frequent change especially in appearance.
Good afternoon 47.
Your target is Luke Poole, prominent bio-weapons expert, and currently number 1 on the CIA’s blacklist. He earned his nickname, The Chameleon, due to his penchant for seamlessly blending in to his surroundings, and evading capture on a number of occasions, each time seemingly disappearing at the drop of a hat.
We’ve got intel that he is currently working with Sean Rose at a militia farm in Colorado.
Find him and eliminate him.
Additional complications
Bonus points
Our intel suggests that Luke Poole will be leaving the militia farm at 1900 UTC on Saturday 26th June.
Happy hunting agents.
Recreated for PC: 1-09-7253330-62
Was just about to recreate it myself, thanks though. I’m not going to record videos of my runs on this laptop so I can do the recreations in the coming weeks.
This doesn’t mean the disguise itself has to be unique (scarecrow, point man, chef), yes? Just any type of disguise?
No, just different regular disguises that are on the map (though if you want to get the scarecrow feel free ). Basically anything that counts for the in-game Chameleon challenge counts here. I’ve just clarified that in the original post.
I followed the rules.
Score: 169,620+5,000+6 x 1,500=183,620
That went well, I like the disguise objective. Equipped most of them, just not the cook, scarecrow and an explosives specialist. Graves’ entourage was near the scarecrow when I went past it and I kinda forgot about it after that. No video, but here’s a pic collage again.
I started as a regular soldier so that’s the first disguise.
does reequipping the suit add it to the point total?
That’s a good point - yeah, re-equipping suit is fine as there is no other way to get that one.
Thanks guys, added the codes to the original post! Cant wait to see how everyone approaches this one!
Can’t wait to play it.
I followed the rules.
8:08
166,862 mission score
Phone retrieval 5000
8 disguises x 1500 = 12000
Total 183,862
EDIT: Actually I think I equipped 9 total disguises. I need to watch and upload my run. I definitely equipped the Milita Spec Ops. I missed the goddamn Militia Soldier. Scarecrow was easy.
Almost got spotted once or twice. Colorado is an anxiety fueled map where you never now who is an enforcer to what disguise. This is why I love it so much and can navigate it the way I did. I captured my run. Not the fastest… the margin for error is too high to be risky in CO.
I’ve completed it and I’m waiting for the run to upload. 1000 points probably won’t make a difference, but does the disguise you start in automatically count to the chameleon point bonus? I didn’t requip my starting disguise out of fear of being spotted, so I’m curious.
Oh man, I dunno haha. I thought that was a nice simple bonus Maybe it would be fairer to say every different disguise that is worn as opposed to equipped?
And he beat me by 3,000
169,474 base score in 5:31 (SA)
+5000 for the phone and +6000 for militia soldier, militia elite, hacker, point man, militia spec ops and militia engineer (?) isn’t there a free disguise for engineer by point man? whoops
Total: 180,474
That’s +9,000 from the disguises, not +6,000. They’re all worth +1,500. That means he beat you by 388 points. See, a thousand can make a difference.
Well between this and my horrific failure at speedrunning for sc8 (the only chance i get at having contract featured, and I have to beat perfect times) it’s basically just a regular week for me! …………
Damn, I took my sweet ass time on this one too because of the unknown enforcers. I just played it safe and ran around as Point Man for most of it. He seems to have the least amount of enforcers.
Getting the chef disguise was also risky lol.
Rules followed.
I enjoyed this a lot more than the actual Chameleon.
SA in 7:28. 167,531 + 5,000 + (6 x 1,500) = 181,531
Less than 24 hours left!
Great to see everybody with such close scores, though I thought this was going to be a lot tougher than it apparently was
