I just realized that they’re making much better pace with the Year 5 ETs compared to the Year 4 ones. The Surgeons is coming September 12 this year, but last year it wasn’t until November 1. Perhaps they’ll be able to fit in a few more “new” Year 5 ETs later on this year, like how last year they finally did The Sensation, The Warlord, and The Pharmacist.

They;'re just trying to do an ET every ten days by the looks of things, probably to paper over holes in their content schedule.

They’re getting through them faster because of all the CelebrETs I assume, since they usually give a new CelebrET an entire month where other content comes to a grinding halt (only time they didn’t do this with a new CelebrET iirc was The Splitter).
They’ve also skipped The Serial Killer for some reason this year, despite otherwise using the same order for the ETs in recent years.

If I recall, there have been some ETs that show up despite not being on the official schedule. Could happen again with the Serial Killer.

They have, fortunately, been avoiding “unroadmapped” ETs for the most part this year.

why do they keep insisting on using the same order? i liked that they deviated about 6 months ago and brought back the pharmacist, the warlord and the sensation but there are so many others that havent returned yet
i think all that is left is the identity thief, the chef, the paparazzo, the blackmailer, the angel of death and the prince
the twin and the black hat havent returned since year 1
it has also been a while since we have seen the bookkeeper and the fugitive
i mean if the fixer can come back surely these can as well it would add more variety at least
except for the congressman and guru i guess it makes sense that theyll never return on their own because of the deceivers
dont think the wildcard will ever come back either
and i dont see the undying (not returns) ever coming back but i guess that makes sense at least he is in the arcade so they havent forgotten about him completely
this is also kinda unrelated but are they ever going to change the unlock for the been there, done that challenge? since we can get the florida fit with gloves in the intended way again?
(water canister unlock perhaps?)
also maybe they should rename le chiffre from the banker to the shadow banker, since strandberg is supposed to be the banker
edit: speaking of the undying’s arcade contract, it should be called the ouroboros, not the oroboros
i just coincidentally discovered a different place in the game where ouroboros is actually spelled correctly lol

Just to clarify, is it going to be 30 mins for the Twitch Drops or 1 hour? 
The Casino Monarchique Chip is 30 minutes, and in the recent email they sent they say all three drops are 30 minutes:
It’s probably just a case of them copy pasting text why it says an hour on the roadmap.

I never thought my love of Hitman would lead down a road where I’m considering trying to figure out what Twitch is, how to start an account and how to watch some content I would never watch if it weren’t a barrier to unlocking an outfit. That swimwear is quite a prize though. From a themed contract standpoint, it opens some fun possibilities, but I don’t think I can do it.
For now, my instinctual avoidance of plugging further in to the noise wins the day. Have fun splishing and splashing everybody! I’ll be suited up on the shore.
Quite an action-packed roadmap by the way. Looking forward to cracking into the ET. Looks like a healthy amount of featured contract batches. Some new threads that don’t require homework.

Not intentional, but let’s roll with it 
If it helps twitch unlocks are not bad once you have it set up, I just leave a video going in the background or on my laptop and they unlock themselves.
Technically you don’t even need a Twitch account if you can find someone who has one and is willing to let you link it to your IOI account.
(If it’s already linked to one, it needs to be unlinked first, but unlinking does not remove unlocked Twitch Drops.)
Was the reason you didn’t pick my contract because it was too hard?
For the Bangkok one, iirc, that was probably part of my reasoning in that case. But I had other criteria I was looking at too to try and get a good variety and balance. It was a tough selection process. Remember I had to narrow down 70 submissions to just 9 (with 1 for myself), so don’t feel disheartened, plenty of good contracts did not make the cut sadly, as is always the case with these things. I still think you should do more contract creation and share it on the Fan Made Contracts thread!

In contrary to what most people think, apparently, I don’t feel bad at all. I was just joking, I understand the difficulty of choosing. I just wanted to know to improve my future contracts, that is if I ever play Hitman again

One invisible wall gone from Hokkaido, another popping up to take its place on top of a regularly climbed cargo container in Berlin.
Anyone remember from season 2 of Teen Titans, back in ‘04 if I recall correctly, where Starfire is going through the equivalent of puberty for her species and she wakes up with a huge bump growing out of her forehead, and whenever she pushes it back in with her finger, it just pops out again somewhere else on her head? I’m pretty sure that this is what’s happening with IOI’s patches.
Every time now when something that’s messed up is fixed - never a big or important thing that people have been asking for years to be fixed, always some minor little thing that most of us didn’t even know was happening and so don’t really care if it was fixed, still waiting on the shit we want fixed to happen… - it always ends up causing more things to bug out somewhere else in the game as a result. It’s like a fucked up digital hydra. It’s like IOI aren’t really fixing anything, just sweeping a mess under a rug, but the mess just sticks out the other end because the rug is too small, and they keep moving the rug to cover the part sticking out, but it just sticks out somewhere else each time. And of course, more mess keeps getting swept under, so the amount sticking out keeps growing and growing… (And I just noticed that I sort of did the same with these paragraphs without realizing it. Huh…)
