TikTok isn’t place for video gamers. So that it’s absolutely impossible to watch even 3 minutes of stream, cause there are no hitman streams at all. And nobody is going to stream one. Just gib me duck I’ve missed on the last minutes of your stream and never do these TikTok drops ever again.

Ironic that this is a “Serious” discussion over a ridiculous item. Screw “FOMO”. Just consider not having this item to further clutter up your inventory as a WIN. Just like that flat featureless purple coin they gave away via Twitch.

It was made “Serious” on purpose. To make a hommage and maybe seriously cancel all probable future TikTok drops.
I’ve already considered not have Black Winter Suit, and Perfomance Coin, and I’ve also missed Year 1 ETs because of Epic exclusiveness. More than enough… Gib me ducky. I’ve lost my chance on the last minutes of stream… I’ve seen the timer. Cruelty as it is.

I suppose if someone just happens to have TikTok (easy for me to say who has 0 interest in it) they could possibly snag it if they so desired. Otherwise, I think it’d also be a good idea if fewer people got it (the duck) so that maybe IOI will realize such stunts are for nothing and a waste of time/effort.

Someone should just start streaming a picture of the duck on TikTok so that the unlock is actually obtainable.
But yeah, putting a Drop on a platform that isn’t really used for streaming games was a bizarre call.

I wonder if everyone gets a different code to redeem this ducky as it’s not tied to an account on tiktok…
I wondered this too, so created another IO account and entered my code again. It errored out and told me it was already redeemed.
So TikTok just have x amount of codes to give out I guess.

When I was watching the stream, eventually this thing got the red circle with the one in it. Tapping it pulled up the thing to get the code.
Apparently, you can’t go live on TikTok without 1,000 followers.

As it should be clear by now, IO likes doing a lot of brand synergy with other companies if it means they can wrangle a new unlock out of it, irrespective of their past and history.
I have seen gameplay on Tiktok before now (Mario Kart Wii, oddly, not Hitman), but I don’t think the platform is really known for it, so it’s a really odd choice to make it an unlock specific to a non-gaming focused streaming service.
Yeah, these need to be unlockable too. Same goes for the travel briefcase.
These got re-ran in Year 2, and have done so many times over now. Hell, they’re some of the most common contracts in Elusive Target Arcade.

iirc, only the H3 Y1 ETs got a reactivation over Christmas 2021. The H1/H2 ones from Y1 only ever went live once.
Anyway… back to the topic. @Combatglue, given that there has been barely any streams for people to be able to get the TikTok Drop - is there a Plan B? Just have the Hitman account stream the Mindseye trailer and other promo videos on a constant loop or something 24/7.

Most of the serious posts deal with triggering content (Conor’s civil court case against Nikita Hand, for example).
This is just about the lack of Hitman streams on TikTok, with a light sprinkling of FOMO annoyance. In my opinion, I don’t think this discussion warrants the “Serious” prefix.
