I liked escalation as a whole, but I feel that for some reason developers did not “put the squeeze” on in a couple of moments.
After the third or fourth attempt, you already begin to delve into the essence and waklthrough takes a maximum of half an hour. It would be possible to remove the random generation of safes, but add two more levels with minor changes - for example, the new location of the targets or another essence of the “hints”.
Well, the motive of the Isle of Sgail on the location somehow does not fit at all. All the same, each music was created for a specific location.
Well, the absence of a song from the trailer makes me BIG SAD . They could have added it like an easter egg, because for some reason you can get up at the DJ console in a suit, press the buttons, but there is simply no another music.
But my opinion in no way means that the new content is “bad”, and not “worth the money”. Only subjective
I really enjoyed this! The map looks incredible (the strings of fairy lights around the dancefloor are particularly pretty, especially when you set an explosive off nearby and they start swaying about) and it was a significant challenge: it took me four goes and 45 minutes to finish, with zero stars
Not quite what I’d hoped for plot-wise, but I don’t think that detracts from it being a really solid escalation. Will definitely replay it, and I can’t wait to see what the rest of this roadmap has in store!
Dancefloor is REALLY the best part of this map!
Anyone else dislike this one? The clues are a pain in the ass to get, and I found myself re rolling over and over again trying to get the good safe spawns, because some safes are way easier than others, life for example, the ones in the biker club are just pretty much impossible to get with silent assassin. Additionally, to get 5 stars, you need to eliminate all of the fake lovers. However all of them just cycle around 1 room, with barely any chance to kill them. The way I did it was by using coin lures to lure them one by one, and eventually got all of them. I like the animation on the snake coil, but the coil is so small you can’t even really see it move unless you pay very close attention. The crossbow sounds like a neat idea, but it only has 2 darts, and is practically useless since the kalmer exists, which can just outright ko a guard with a dart. Also, the narrator just can’t shut up. Is it really necessary to say the same 2 lines over and over again when you pick up an item? Overall, really disappointed io. I thought that these were gonna be good, judging by sloth, but no. This is worse than pride, and since I completed all the challenges, I do not see myself replaying this ever again.
I’m enjoying it. No agents gives some nice freedom, and the random safes are fun; not sure why you’d reroll it as each one gives its own challenge to beat and needs a different path. I’ll definitely be playing this more than Sloth.
This is the method I have come up with for my safe spawns. It was definitely an interesting escalation to make a walkthrough for due to the random aspects but I enjoyed it nevertheless. It was far from my favourite escalation but I preferred it over Greed. In my opinion The Pride Profusion was the best SDS escalation
I can definitely save time on this run and it was a bit sloppy in places as I wanted to make sure that I chose the correct admirer.
It reminds me of Lady Boyle’s Party from Dishonored
3 easy ones?
I went for these 3;
-
One on the roof
-
Tech area overlooking dance floor
-
Second floor area (hard to describe)
I did get into the night managers office and get that one on my first run but took a while.
Hardest has to be the one in the biker hangout surely?
Here are pictures showing the twelve possible locations of the safes.
Each time you restart the level six safes will spawn randomly. You can use any key to open any safe, but you need one key for each safe you open.
Main Building, Level 0
Basement, Level -1
Basement, Level -2
Basement, Manager’s Office, Level -2
Basement, Level -1
Biker’s Hideout, Greenhouse, Level 1
Biker’s Hideout, Level 1
Biker’s Hideout, Starting Location, Level 0
Main Building, Cloakroom, Level 0
Outside, Behind Juice Bar, Level 0
Outside, Near Crane, Level 0
Outside, Rooftop, Level 2
Hardest are defo the biker hideout. I didn’t even go near those.
For me the best route was the one in the basement, in the hallway next to the DJ booth, then go upstairs and get the one next to the sleeping tech guy, then go through the projection bar picking up the key enroute and get the one in the middle section of the ground floor (where the skylight brings you down to). All of them are basically free with a distraction.
I can get all 3 and get back down within 2 minutes on a good run. Problem then is killing 7 people for 5-stars, which I haven’t had the willpower to do yet
these 3 are so annoying to do Silent Assassin
I completely agree with the second one but with the first you can literally just run up and unlock it if you time it right.
Just about to try Lust. Had a quick glance at the leaderboards to see #1 on ps has a time of 20 minutes. I havent read any posts on the escalation itself. But i dont think i ever saw a time like this being first half a day after release. Lol. Now im curious though. Lets go.
For me the right pair for the Lust was the bald dude who smokes and sips wine. Didn’t change for me in both tries I did the escalation.
Only noticed tha changes of the position of the safes.
My extended thoughts on this are that it’s really good for what it is. But I just enjoy when new stuff is added to the game anyway, and as someone who was gifted this for my birthday by my lovely girlfriend because I didnt want to pay for it I can honestly say my mind isnt changed on it not being worth the money
The thing is with Patient Zero, Expansion Pass and even Deluxe I believed that what you were given was worth it. Still overpriced, but I could endorse what was there. The expansion had really good new maps in New York, Haven and Siberia and deluxe had some of the best escalations IO have done and cool suits. These were still overpriced but they were still good stuff I recommend buying but you wait for a sale for
With the Sins the only one I recommend is Sloth. Pride is decent, this is decent and Greed is bad. Unless all three future sins are bonus missions I dont think IO can turn around the value for money with the next three. I also feel this was despite being delayed it felt rushed. The whole update does, as theres barely any fixes. No haven island viewcone fix, for example, I dont really care about most bugs even if I want all bugs fixed because thatd be nice but that one geniunely impacts a guy like me as someone who loves that level. The escalation is only one level and it doesnt escalate internally so the name is completely nonindicative, its more of a special assignment. theres a challenge for both completing level one and completing all levels, which says to me they mightve scrapped an idea for a second or even second and third level. Which im fine with it just seems that oversight implies that the escalation was rushed a bit. Theres some things i think should be obvious to do like if you kill all pretenders and the admirer isnt KOed you can skip the clues. It feels there should be more challenges to this escalation, like what I suggested there to add replayability
When the roadmap trailer showed the outside I thought that it wouldnt be interesting to roam outside and they should just lock the club down so only the redecorated area is available. But unfortunately that dance floor is all that got changed, which is a shame as I thought at least the backstages would be sexed up a bit. Another thing to add to my speculation that it was rushed
Like I said I enjoyed the experience of this, it was well done and I like the new items. People say the blinding crossbow is underpowered but I think thats premature based on lack of experience with it. I think it’s a great addition because unlike flashbangs it doesnt create noise or panic until after it’s over, I think that’s a good trade off for less blindings. I just think it’s not worth the money beyond getting two really good items, one of which should maybe be nerfed a little bit and one that maybe should be buffed
Poll time, for the pondering minds out there.

On its own or as a collection? Five dollars aint bad for it, it’s decently made and has cool unlocks
Just lust by itself.
Thank you both for the tips. Hope I could get my hands on the crossbow real soon.
