Simple Mod Framework

This has been fixed.

Hi, I’ve been using this mod without any issues whatsoever since a very long time.

Although, with this mod enabled on SMF, there in no background music when I’m in my safehouse. No audio while selecting this:

An no audio even when 47 is exiting the safehouse on his car/bike.

Can this be fixed?

That’s not a framework mod.

Yes, I’m aware it’s an RPKG mod. So this will only fix as long as the original creator converts this mod to a SMF compatible mod?

Edit: Dropped a comment there, let’s see.

It’s because they override a file with an older version messing up any new sounds.

I understand. I left a comment on the modpage 2 weeks back, but looks like they don’t maintain it any longer.

Hey everyone, any idea why I cannot deploy my mods?
Log

It looks like Lighting Ultimate - Landslide Vanilla + is incompatible with a mod

That shouldn’t be an issue, maybe the log isn’t displaying properly and it’s actually The Author LU option, which is a known incompatibility with Freelancer Variations. Turn them both off to be safe.

Also Chongqing LU option if you have that on. And if you still get an error then try GOTY version of The Vector Colorado instead of Vanilla+

That seems to be it, while I was trying to fix it, I saw your pinned post on freelancer variations which explained the incompatibilities with LU and after changing Colorado and Chongqing, everything worked fine and deployed correctly. Thanks!

Hi, I am fairly new to the modding community. I followed the instructions and tried to install a couple of mods. Then since the mods were not being deployed I decided to install only the Realistic AI one, but still even thought it is just one mod it keeps on giving me the Error Spawn wmic ENOENT

I have the game on Epic Games and the SMF is on the following directory:
A:\HITMAN3\Simple Mod Framework

I have been googling but nothing with my mistake pops up and no mod seems to be deployed.

INFO Analysing framework mod: Realistic AI
INFO Deploying Atampy26.RealisticAI
DEBUG Applying repository patch A:\HITMAN3\Simple Mod Framework\Mods\Realistic AI\content-normal\chunk0\Realistic AI Normal.repository.json
This error originated either by throwing inside of an async function without a catch block, or by rejecting a promise which was not handled with .catch(). The promise rejected with the reason:
Error: spawn wmic ENOENT

Could you try going to the folder in Explorer, replacing the folder path at the top with cmd and pressing enter? It should launch the Command Prompt. Then, type Deploy --logLevel verbose --logLevel debug --logLevel info --logLevel warn --logLevel error and press enter and it should run the SMF deploy but giving more information before the error.

Hi sorry for the delay! I believe there may be a time difference! I did as you asked and the CMD threw back this log at me.
Thank you for your help

Could you try typing “environment variables” into the Start menu and opening the “Edit the system environment variables” option, then clicking Environment Variables in the bottom-right, scrolling to the “Path” option in the upper box, clicking Edit and then adding a new element with the text %SystemRoot%\System32\Wbem?

In theory this should fix your deploy.

Yes! This did indeed work! Thank you so much for your help! I did not know about the Environment Variables at all
