It’s still easier in some areas over others even with that strategy.
Fishing village is actually my favourite spawn point for him. ![]()
Besides, do you really think you truly deserve the achievement when you restarted the mission instead of accepting what you were given?
I restart ET’s all the time. The option is available right there in the menu. ![]()
Was just looking at the roadmap and noticed that both the months of April and May have nothing on the first week each. The first week of April can easily be excused because of Easter, but the gap in May is a bit of a head scratcher…
They couldn’t activate an ET first week of May because there would be one running when the servers will go into maintenance to support the patch (they don’t let ETs and maintenance overlap), but they could’ve slotted in the Curated Contracts a week earlier because patch week has still got the new challenges/unlocks and The Deceivers in it and then we wouldn’t just a random gap for no apparent reason. ![]()
These are still Very Good Roadmaps anyway, considering the nice amount of content we are getting so frequently
Considering there’s other updates planned for specific points later this year and IOI supposedly has plans for one new challenge and unlock per month, I’m hoping that some of it is a good Freelancer update, maybe new modifiers or something?
Other than some bug fixes, the only changes I’d really like to see to Freelancer are access to all weapons from the main game (and all Freelancer weapons usable in the main game), access to all outfits in the main game (location defaults unlocked), and the additional syndicate types and names that we saw in the promotional material, like the Gamemaster, and the White Spider, with Occult crimes and Human Experimentation and such.
Oh, and the complete removal of, or changed to selectably optional, all objectives.
Yeah fingers crossed!
I’m intrigued to see if anymore of the monthly unlocks are going evolve around Freelancer content? I mean we’re getting the ‘Black Bruiser Suit’, so hopefully we’ll get more stuff like this for Freelancer ![]()
To be honest, I do miss using the Trinity Weapons and the classic fiber wire, so I’m hoping they get added to Freelancer! ![]()
Yup. Those rock walls all around the bunker with nothing on them are just space that’s ready to be used.
I’m still hoping the Trinity Pack is made available as a DLC (Please IO, it’d basically be free money for you!)
I know I’ve always asked them to add more map versions to Contracts mode, but I don’t see why they’re bothering with HSF and Holiday Hoarders. They each only add ~2 NPCs (3/5 of those NPCs are the targets already). I guess Holiday Hoarders could have 2 interesting contracts: 1) killing Santa (maybe combined with mandatory santa exit), and 2) Being forced to hunt for weapons that are only found in the Christmas presents; but after that it’s the same as the original map
At that point they should add in the first two Special Assignments instead since they came with ToD Change plus about 20 new NPCs. Or The Warlord who comes with all those soldiers, and Kalu who wasn’t a target. Or hey Easter Berlin is more different than HH and HSF
The only reason you forgot to mention to use these maps instead of the originals is the limited starting location, that’s it.
I am expecting to see “Get To The Choppa” and “Prevent Sapienza” definitive editions
Honestly this alone is enough reason for me.
Plus, it’s Paris, and everything looks festive… I see more appeal to it than Freeform Training personally.
Santa disguise requirement and unique weapons can make any NPC kill different from the closest equivalent in the normal mode.
Sadly Holiday Hoarders is going to generate an excessive amount of “Kill Santa” contracts… ![]()
Make a contract where changing disguises is an instafail, but a chimney exit is required. Better have the Santa suit or you’re sol. ![]()
As for kill conditions - they’d need to be certain methods or with certain tools. Otherwise anyone could just (lethal) poison the food he eats at the end of that table with the ice-sculpture.
I wonder how trolly the fact that there are two ‘Santa’ outfits will be? Do they have the same names in contracts mode? How many people will go in with the Santa 47 suit, not realising they have to steal Santa’s, or vice-versa?
The Santa Clause.
Kill Santa with an accident and exit via the chimney after delivering some presents dressed as Santa.
I’ve been wanting to make a contract to drown Santa Claus for a long time😀
