Oh god. Its like someone projectile vomited Twitch Drops. They’re doing so many in such a short space of time…
Not really, there is a pretty good space between each drop and a decent lenght to redeem it (except for Fiber Wire, which could be few days longer).
It took them about a year and half from when the first Drop was activated to the most recent one to get to six Drop items (+ the controversial paid Drop). In the next two and half months, four new ones are being churned out.
Its definitely quite an increase in a short space of time.

Hope they also reactivate the previous Twitch Drops for this upcoming thing. I missed the recent Purple Coin and would like another chance at it.

I’m thinking there’s a slight possible chance they could possibly sunset WOA content around the 10-year anniversary in March next year perhaps? 
I don’t know, but I’d have it going on for a lot longer, but that to me seems like the perfect point with it being the 10-year anniversary of HITMAN 2016.
IOI are definitely announcing the Summer roadmap then at their showcase looking at the Twitch suit unlock

So it seems that there will be more chances to unlock the Duck besides just IO’s livestream on the 6th, so that’s great for people in inconvenient time zones when it’s live! Hopefully they make it clear what other streamers are eligible
Also, it seems they’re cutting down on the time required for the drops, since up to this point new drops have all required an hour of watch time. So that’s pretty good!
And lastly, it wouldn’t be a Twitch Drop info page without some copy/pasting, and in the fine print it mentions the Purple Streak Coin!

If I had to guess what they’re planning on drawing attention to with the Drops:
The chip is likely the new CelebrET based on the length of time its running for. Either the suit or the fibrewire could be a rerun of The Splitter, and I guess the other would be another The Undying (since it also had two activations last year and has only surfaced once this year so far).

I don’t really like the suit’s description or the possibility of having a coin that only gives 1 (because 3 casino chips each worth 100k would be weird to just have), but that ducky looks cute. Having 50% of the drops being Purple Streak items is also nice, IOI started with purple items and should continue with them in my opinion, even if only some are purple with each Drop Campaign. The swimwear color combination also feels a bit off, but maybe it looks better in-game.

The swimsuit is literally a suit in the contracts mode logic, not just disguise privileges. it’s sort of like the buccaneer in Ambrose: a suit placed into the map to act as a disguise, but a reverse scenario where it is made attainable after its appearance on the map. so it’s probably not because they want to distinguish it from the swimsuit for gameplay reasons, but instead so they can do what they did with the purple streak boxer suit and include a normal and twitch version of a future unlock
47 does have seven figures to spare but he’s literally throwing money away at this point. maybe this should attract only targets or multiple NPCs or make people fight over it? lmaooo jk
yknow i was thinking maybe it was just to promote the Bond game, which might start announcing a date and preorders by then, but i think you’re right: the month of time is way too similar to CelebrET times plus it’d be the sort of thing you’d want to put in an IOI showcase

Watch a cumulative 15 minutes / 30 minutes on Twitch to unlock this item (instead of 1 hour as all previous Twitch Drops were)

After reading this and given the fact the chip is referencing Casino Royale, I want to believe the celeb is going to be Mads Mikkelsen, It makes too much sense.

I was thinking the same. With the Bond game on the horizon and the fact that its a casino chip (Casino Royale 
). Mads is also from Denmark, where IOI is located. Would be the perfect celebrET.

No way it’s gonna be Mads. Way too high-profile for a CelebET. He’s still in his prime and has appeared as a main character in numerous billion-dollar franchises, and headlined his own TV series. All the other CelebETs are either has-beens (sorry Sean) or relatively niche. Unless he’d be willing to be extraordinarily generous with the compensation for his involvement, or unless IOI has more money reserved for securing a celebrity than we thought, Mads is just on a level too high for Hitman.
