As soon as I get my hands on some ecto cooler, I will make a cocktail full enough of nostalgia to cure any type of negative and undesired effects via pure joy.

This is nothing. Last winter I went through a phase where I made hollow ice ball shells that I injected cocktails into and melted with overproof rum that I’d set on fire.
I don’t want to get sober whilst I am waiting for the next drink
I’m a simple man, lots of Rum, Coke and ice do the job just fine
As if these aren’t performance pieces, the Showstoppers of my bartending
Don’t worry. I’d keep you good and soused while you wait.
Tonight is garbage asti spumonte night complete with knock off cigarettes from Hong Kong. I expect to be massively hung over tomorrow morning but this shits been laying around the house forever taking up space.
I’m not really a Whiskey or Rum drinker. So a general question: Is it acceptable to drink any Whiskey or Rum with coke? I’m pretty sure if it’s really good there’s some frowning involved… Don’t you just buy the cheapest thing to mix? Or is it like when you’re cooking: Only a good wine and other good ingredients make a good meal – even if you don’t really taste it anymore.
Never give a shit about what others think about your drink
I’m mostly with @MrOchoa, if it tastes good then you should drink it. That said, you’re probably wasting the good stuff if you mix it.
if I spend my hard earned pennies on a 12 year old (or older) scotch then I will want to enjoy it as is. I’m sure it would taste great with cola, but the cola is gonna be the main flavour in a scotch and cola. If I want one of those I’ll just use Dewars White label or some other reasonably priced scotch.
Exactly. Mixing with anything over the $50 mark is more of a waste than anything but @MrOchoa is right. Who gives a shit about other people think of your booze of choice.
Tonight we slammed a bottle of Four Roses small batch and a GL 14 no soda. The one person who wanted soda drank it with bulliet rye and everyone was happy.
Breakfast (stout) of champions!
Gave this a try based on the cool design of the can alone (it was calling to me)
Coffee & chocolate wouldn’t normally be my go to choice of flavours for a beer, but once you get used to it, they work surprisingly well. Will buy again.
Drinking a nice Campari (without Soda) with a cube of ice and a slice of lemon. Preparing to go out later to eat at the best spanish restaurant in town. Really looking forward to this!
I love Campari! It’s right up to the line when it comes to how bitter a drink should be. Maybe it even just walks across that line, but it’s excellent.
I hope you enjoyed your evening.
Nights are getting cold & dark now, but at least it’s “Whisky season” in the Firepower household, time to start pulling out one of my faves by candlelight…
I haven’t tried that, actually I don’t think I have ever seen it. Heavy peat is a good thing in my book though!! Enjoy!
Started drinking alcohol for the first time five years ago as a means of washing down something that tastes even worse. Found myself with a taste for bourbon and similar mashes, indulge every now and then. Currently making my way through a bottle of Jack Daniels, the first one I ever tried. It’s been too long.
Me and my friends went to an Irish pub this weekend where I drank my first ever Guiness beer. It tasted like black coffee. Not that bad but definitely not good either.
Urgh, it tastes like somebody threw a handful of potting soil into a glass of Beer. Really don’t like it, but maybe my beer standards are too high, I’m german after all
