Yeah, that’s not how nihilism actually works. The whole “if life doesn’t matter, then why don’t you kill yourself” argument is a fallacy. Even nihilists can fear death due to both survival instinct and intrinsic fear of the unknown beyond death. They simply won’t use the argument that life, even their’s, should not be terminated because of inherent value or meaning.
