Eh, the safehouse is just not built as an action level, an invasion would be terrible and boring.
It could make a good Halloween themed jump scare, nothing more.

I really hope for themes packages during the year, with easter decorations, halloween, christmas. And snow!! The safehouse would look amazing with snow

For now I’d be happy to have a way to change car colors, I like the van + sports car combo in the garage but I think they’d look even better in black than in red.

Have you not seen the picture from early footage which showed up pumpkins and Christmas trees as decorations for 47’s Safehouse?
I’m hoping we get these as part of a future update as they’re clearly in the files

I decided what they should do to make the house feel less safe.
Y’know how they made the backrooms in the Glacier engine? So yeah, on October 31st, when coming back from your first Freelancer mission of the day, it puts you in a backrooms otherworldly version of the safehouse. Even better if the devs do it and don’t say anything at all about it.

As proof :
Two days later, Mastery 100 achieved, no new Safehouse unlocks though. And no ICA coin. 33 campaigns to achieve it, according to the game. Some were bugged, so I would guess 30 in reality. I also now have 95/99 challenges done.
The last 4 ones are the usual suspects (slow and steady, top dog, employee of the year, and GOAT). They all have clear empty emplacements on the central shelves.
Which means that not only are my Office shelves and Bedroom wall shelves as full as they can be, but also that at least one challenge is not currently possible, one more indicator of more to come.
(that and the top shelve in the office is suspiciously not used)

A final fun things about the Safehouse : if you use the premium meditation spot, a giant duckie passes through the day.
@V1G0F4LCRUM, I would guess 80-120 hours. I basically played 4 hours in the evening during the week and 12 hours a day during the week-ends to arrive here. But you have to do as many perfect run as you can, it can double, if not triple, the xp gained per mission.

I don’t have all the cosmetics unlocked yet so I could be wrong, but it seems like a missed opportunity that you can’t lay down on the bed in the Bedroom and change the time of day in the safehouse.

I wish you could change the time of day… Daylight is BEST time imo
Night is cool and all, but way way too dark outside to be looking for items even if using Instinct.
At the very least you can start in bed when you start up Freelancer
