The Safehouse Thread

I’ll never be able to so simply ignore such a blatant continuity break.

When I see that Alexa has faked death not once, but twice, I’m gonna scream.

They do show in the vault yes, I do believe some of them also show on a shelf upstairs.

Just unlocked the Garage Door. Cool! I can see the front of the house now.

But I can’t close the door. Is my boy really going to let this massive entrance stay open to his Safehouse?

Guess he’s gotta wait 2 months until the full release to get A/C in the Premium Package… :frowning:

Are you referring to the (Premium) text on certain elements in the Safehouse?

Well if so, I checked the files and what “WoA Premium” (as IOI call it) meant, it’s just deluxe edition (right now, this could change).

Sure. If that’s not already in the house, it’s probably part of one of those spiffy Premium unlocks he gets every now and then.

And what?? That’s… hm… I don’t know how to feel about that. Seems like some pretty minor content to keep locked behind the Deluxe DLC (subject to change of course).

Well, you’re gonna have to, because unless they fix that between now and launch, past targets are going to be there and we’re not there to kill them, so you’ll have to ignore them. The idea is pretend they aren’t there.

It makes deluxe, how do I put this? Less useless?

If you wonder how Alexa lives, and other science facts (lalala)

Just repeat to yourself “it’s just a game, I should really just relax”

For Mystery Science Theatre 47!

True, there were a lot of people clamoring for IOI to add anything “substantial” to the DLC after its release.

Personally, I think it’s a bit late to be adding in exclusive content like this – especially stuff that feels so minimal yet special for Freelancer – some of those Premium props are very Professional-looking, fitting for 47, or just neat Easter Eggs (Allan’s Details).

Eh, let’s not derail the thread any further anyway. Best not to dwell on what might not be set in stone, or file-mining in a thread it shouldn’t be. Fingers crossed everyone can get access to all the content :crossed_fingers:

I wouldn’t say we’re derailing the thread at all, this is related to the Safehouse after all.

Mm, you do have a point. :man_shrugging:

As far as i can tell they all show on the shelves upstairs (once unlocked).

Well actually we were all disapointed by the Deluxe Contents so I wouldn’t mind if iO “retroactively” would offer more? Would be pretty cool actually. We supder duper mega fans would get more for our money and those who did not get Deluxe might now see more value in it.

Yeah but like I’ve said above, it’s no different having Dalia Margolis and
Novikov walking around in Holiday Hoarders (Paris) doing the same routine as they do in the Showstopper, yet it’s a different timeline of events?

Just to add to this as it technically is a shelf upstairs, in the office there’s another shelf for them to go. I got confused as to why my first challenge (kill a leader on the way to a meeting) wasn’t shown on the shelves but sure enough, it’s on the top of the office shelf.

What’s the safehouse like? I don’t have steam so I can’t do the testing thing :sob:

Steam is literally free, mate. If you have a pc (or even a laptop) you can play anything on steam

Oh, they added a new shelf, I’ve actually clocked 6 hours without playing it yet…

I think at least some of them show in the vault as there’s a globe and a bust down there which looks like one from the challenge images.
