Turns out they only brought back the themes and system sounds. The old bootup themes have been omitted. So close to getting it right, big Sony L.

As far as I could tell, did the 30th anniversary themes only have the PS1 boot up sound?
I mostly used the PS1 and PS3 themes when it was active, and whenever I powered the console on, it always played the BWOOOOO BEEBEEBEEBEE PS1 theme…

PS5 still has no games and they can’t even get the themes right.

Once again I beat the system for PS5 Disc-Upgrades, as I bought the Days Gone Remastered upgrade at like 12:02am once it finally appeared, and surprisingly it still was confused enough about the store page changing and granted me the pre-order bonus bike upgrade/cosmetic thing upon purchase…
All for 15$, which should not have been possible…

I’ve played some of Balatro and Boltgun on Gamepass, but it’ll be good to have them on another platform, too (so long as I keep my subscription alive).
Never played the Ark games, don’t understand them, apparently they’re buggy, but also huge, but also unforgiving for new players. This one’s a pass for me.

Current PlayStation Stars members can still earn Digital Collectibles, Points and level up their status until July 23, 2025 at 7:59AM PDT | 3:59PM BST | 11:59PM JST. After this date, there will be no new PlayStation Stars Campaigns available, or any additional rewards or status benefits to earn.
This version of the PlayStation Stars program will fully end on November 2, 2026 and current PlayStation Stars members can continue to redeem Points as long as their Points don’t expire before then.

It wasn’t that long ago they updated the terms to have points expire one year after earning instead of two.
Did this really prove to be such a loss for Sony’s bottom line they decided, no, let’s just kill it? Ugh, damn. Like, the point earning+redeeming isn’t even the best rate to ratio IMO, so I’m baffled they’re choosing to kill it in the first place.
They also said they’d implement the system into the PS5 menu itself but I guess that’s never happening. No idea why they’re letting players keep their Virtual Trophy Case of silly nothing-items you can only see on the app anyway…

Imagine the whole 007 Game is just a big hoax to announce Codename 47 HD, that would be awesome. Do it, you cowards!
Also a new Tomb Raider, a new Castlevania and Remaster of Godzilla: Destroy all Monsters Melee would be great.
