2016’s cut scenes were the best mostly because of him. Especially the one right after Sapienza, with the key guy. That’s better than all of H2’s “cut scenes” + both movies.

Yes! When I recently replayed WOA I had forgotten about the cutscenes and they were so fun to go back to. Greys character really helped suck the player into the 2016 story.

Agreed. Grey set the plot in motion but became much more than a human plot device over time, and I’m glad they developed him into a complex character.
There’s always this trope of an ally turning into an antagonist, and Grey’s characterization subverts that.
He’s not my favorite character in WOA but was always intriguing.
