Things About Hitman You Just Found Out

I just replayed H2SA for the second time ever and got SA on all levels but on the easiest difficulty

So I learned quite a few things that a lot of you might already know, but imo still worth sharing anyway :slightly_smiling_face: Enjoy!

Ballers misconception

It’s common knowledge that AMT Hardballer is a real firearm that was present in C47, its heavily modified fictional variation named Silverballer was introduced in Contracts and became 47’s signature weapon, and in H2SA, there are guns called Ballers - kind of halfway between Hardballer and Silverballer… Well, not really. Baller is just short for Silverballer and the full name can be seen in the inventory description.

Screwing around in Afghanistan

I didn’t pay attention to this before, but the soldiers go to the mosque and pray in The Motorcade Interception

After I jumped down, they freaked out and stood up, leaving their guns on the ground.

You can safely pick them up if you’re disguised, so some of the soldiers will be unarmed!

I wonder if this can be useful gameplay-wise, as Close Encounter is triggered when the enemy draws the weapon on you… which those dudes don’t have.

A minor thing

Same as in C47, you can dress as any civilian. There is a little value to this, but still interesting.

Female guards

Everyone knows about the female guards in Lee Hong Assassination in C47, some even know about the female bodyguards in Blackwater Park

Turns out, in Temple City Ambush, both female and male cult members can be seen. They are armed and serve as the “police” (even marked so on the map)

Dual wielding

In C47, you could dual wield pretty much any handguns. In H2SA and since only Silverballers are dual-wieldable.

At least it was intended. As I found out, you can still dual wield a combination of any two handguns, just like in C47.

To do this, you need two handguns and a pair of Ballers; drop the Ballers, unholster or pick up Gun №1, pick up the Ballers (Gun №1 will slide into the left hand, similarly to large weapons), then pick up or unholster Gun №2. Done! You will shoot with both guns, but sometimes (when you’re out of ammo, I think?) the second gun wouldn’t. The fun thing is - unlike Ballers, you don’t have to reload, the magazine ammo will be replenished instantaneously.
