Things About Hitman You Just Found Out

I didn’t even know that was a thing,so I can’t really answer your question. :grimacing:

You didn’t shave Mumbai? You can become the barber and cut lots of peoples hair. Eventually you’ll get some info from a guy. I just don’t know if he gives you a photo or it might have just been a description that Dianna can use to say for sure “that’s him.”

Maybe even the target gets a hair cut? I can’t remember now.

Yes, he has a shave*. Earlier in the mission story you retrieve a photo from the hideout (?) which leads you to the barber’s. Kale comes round to basically say “welcome to the crows”

I did because there was even a trophy for it in Hitman 2,but I don’t remember any client giving me a photo of the Maelstrom.

I can’t be sure, but if you already have the photo, maybe the client doesn’t give you another one? Or it could just be a completely separate thing.

I shaved all 15 clients (there was a challenge for doing it I think) and none of them gave me a photograph that I recall.

My memory is clearly not so good. Sorry.

Uh I mentioned that lol

@MrOchoa yeah I played Codename 47 as well… oopses! Forgot about that in the harbor  but in my defense, the players really have no other choice, unfortunately…

I´m pretty sure none of the clients gives you a photo, but at least one talks about the Maelstrom being in town, though I absolutely do not remember the details of what they say. Whether it´s the same guy from whom you can snatch the photo though I have no idea (btw I ran into that bloke on my very first playthrough, which was pretty neat).

On the topic of animals - this reminds me of a cut laptop message I recently found in Codename 47

Diana must have been ashamed when she saw the neck-snapped kiwi in 47’s hideout

The only pieces of evidence you need to correctly conclude the Dartmoor investigation are the letter, the greenhouse keychain, the muddy shoes, the footprints, the lab equipment, the dosage table and her alibi. All other clues and information are irrelevant.

I’m sure most knew this already but in Sapienza (where the telescope tower is) the laptop has Hokkaido as the desktop background!

I know you can see things like this in other levels as well, just never noticed Sapienza having Japan. That means IO knew long in advance :+1:

Yeah, they didn’t made the Locations up as they were going, otherwise the Game would have been a terrible mess i think :stuck_out_tongue:

Well yeah that’s true lol I just mean it’s cool for “us” the players. Cause how many of us probably saw this wayyy back when (before any of us played Hokkaido) thinking this was just “nothing” I mean we know now but I just think that’s cool

looking at the area where the spa would be, it’s the original 2 floor Hokkaido that didn’t make it to the final game

Sophia Washington was seemingly going to be called Serena at first.

Apparently they realized they were being not so subtle with the whole Williams sisters parallel…

Also, the fact that the Washington twins (as well as Savalas and others I assume) are in the database despite not being ICA sanctioned targets irks me…

Counts for Janus and Cassidy as well. 47, Diana and Grey acted on their own for them iirc.

Yeah, I haven’t bothered yet to pause through the cutscene to see who’s there, but assumed all post-Mumbai H2 targets probably are, even though they shouldn’t be…

Edit: Though Cassidy and Janus were framed by Diana, so maybe their inclusion is somewhat ok…?

All the targets from H1-2 are in the data that 47 wipes, including the ETs. And two people that were a single ET that was never officially released is in there as well…

Edit: Just went back and looked at them, some of the targets from Patient Zero are in the data cutscene with the codenames the targets had when they were just Elusive Targets before IO re-purposed them for the GOTY campaign.

I’m aware of the Caruso brothers being there (it’s one of the reasons I’m clinging to the hope that they will eventually release that mission in SOME form…), but the PZ codename thing is new and interesting to me. Makes you wonder whether it’s an oversight or something they just didn’t bother dealing with, or a sort of mini Easter Egg… Either way, it’s peculiar the target names (both PZ and H2) are there in this form…
