Sometimes the best Stew is made from leftovers, and i think PZ was worth its money, there were a lot of alterations to the levels, especially Banglok - more than in those 7DS Escalations for sure.
Sarajevo Six were just shitty ETs, but at least they were free, so no real complaints here.
The real complaints came from the other platforms which didn’t get the content with the exclusive deal. 
Concept is great, if they would’ve cancelled the usual ET rules for that one.
Or turned it into a regular self bonus mission
We don’t know whether the content was planned to be released for free but turned in paid or repurposed from being scrapped. Neither when and why it decided to be a paid content and how it has changed since.
Also, you might not like the idea, but making something from the ground up when the existing one can be used could be a very inefficient move.
Indeed! It could well have, and probably would have, been that the ET versions of the eventual PZ targets would not have been steeped in such detailed missions as were finally released. All that these briefing videos tell us is that the concepts were reused, not any full missions themselves.

Sure would be nice if VR would come to PC some day… might be what puts me over the hump in buying a VR set.
This is just my speculation, but like 2/3 patches ago they changed the Turn VR On/Off image away from the PSVR headset.
Could be IOI future-proofing for other devices?
I’m fairly confident that the exclusivity issue is the correct reason why there’s no news on a PC VR version yet. Similarly, IOI can’t really talk about Steam because of the Epic arrangement. Once the exclusivity periods end, I’m sure we’ll hear something about it.
So does the level play differently with those changes or is it similar enough that the same routes and paths still apply?
I think they turned out for the better in the PZ campaign.
The Doomsayer would´ve been an absolute pain as a 4-target ET, especially in such a claustrophobic map as Bangkok…
Patient Zero just seems way too restrictive given how it requires you to wear a hazmat suit and kill Cage with a lethal injection. The current version allows for more freedom and we get the bonus of having a 100+ target mission lol 
The Author seems like the most classic kind of ET, and is particularly interesting due to being set in the Landslide version in Sapienza. The idea that Black is a fake is also pretty neat (I don´t believe there´s anything about that in the final mission?) and would be interesting if there was any special dialogue in that regard. Nevertheless, I prefer the current version with the horror-like vibe.
The Conditioner is perhaps the one that´s lost the most, and I´d be interested in hearing what dialogue Paine had in that mission. However, I´m not really fond of Colorado ETs, and just like The Doomsayer, this one would´ve been a pain (pun… not intended) with the additional targets. As a regular mission/Special Assignment though, I would´ve liked the concept, particularly if it had the daytime setting of The Vector.
And of course we get to enjoy the PZ missions during unique times of the day.
Indeed, the concept is pretty cool and would´ve definitely worked better as a SA/regular mission, but I´m still not sure I would´ve liked to have 4 targets in Bangkok, especially since I imagine they would all be concetrated in the same two-floor apartment area… 
The Colorado concept is a bit more intriguing. We did basically get it in a sniper assassin form, but still could´ve been nice to get to roam sunny day Colorado… (then again, I tend to criticise the main mission for not doing enough to justify its 4 targets, so… 
)
I´m actually one of those people who wouldn´t mind paying for permanently playable ETs (all of them) as a DLC. I certainly would mind less paying for them than the 7DS, so…

I watched the old Hitman VR announce stream the other day, and they mention a few other changes that had to be made in terms of gameplay.
Specifically, “hiding behind an open door”. I think it was Sidsel that said they had to remove some props or geometry next to certain doors so that you could effectively hide behind them in VR.
Was playing Mendoza and happened to overhear Tamara guessing with Diana about who they had eliminated in the past and heard Diana confirm that 47 had eliminated Aleksander Kovak - the client from The Last Yardbird - which is the only assassination confirmed by Diana we’ve not seen happen at any stage during the series.
Wonder if IO just goofed, or if he’s going to show up as an ET…
Has to be a goof because Kovak was arrested in Panama after he tried converting his tontine into Bitcoin and left a (proverbial) paper trail.

Without seeing the actual mission setting it’s hard to say what it would look like.
Something tells me, they would’ve spread the targets all across the map.
There are enough places to squeeze them in.
As for sniper, I don’t think Bangkok is a sniper map by its nature.
So you would’ve needed to do the job all classic

He should be juggling and he should be fairly amazing at it. I expect he can do some tricks since he can do basically everything anything.
