Really? Is it possible within normal gameplay without modding? I thought the only target disguises allowing 47 to wear are the two targets in the Author.
Only with a mod.
With that you can dress up as any NPC in the game.
Including women, yes
No.
This is Dress as any NPC mod, or something like that.
Without a mod you can’t obtain any “exclusive” disguise
The levels are roughly the same experience…
I find it’s actually faster to play in VR since actions like bounding over obstacles aren’t animated and seem to work pretty instantly… ledge movement seems faster since it’s been improved. Since less people play, less people report bugs, so there’s plenty of ledges you can just ‘jump off’.
I have to forewarn that the VR take a lot of getting used to… it’s tons of fun to goof around… but with a fair share of user error to overcome.
It’s awesome to run while singlehandedly firing a machine gun just embracing madness.
It raises the difficulty as you can only see what you see (no rotating the camera or bracing against cover) and there’s a very reduced Instinct. (Can’t see through walls or NPC outlines).
On the plus side, you are also able to throw comically far and pull off shots you couldn’t in third person.
It’s like an old muscle car… it’s harder to drive, but that’s the fun of it.
There’s a chance I put this as an easter egg in my Accent replacement mod, if you’re using that
oh. that makes a lot more sense.
i totally did! wow, i was sure i only downloaded cosmetic mods
Congrats, you’re the first person to notice
I decided to hit the enable button on it and anyone who doesn’t like that can just not use his disguise since it’s not really helpful anyway
Hope you’re enjoying the mod as well
Okay, I just found out that modders can apply easter eggs to their masterpieces.
Well done, Kev
When you use that mod does the game behave as expected? Like will guards treat you as say Victor Novakov?
Can you dress as Ken Morgan and trigger Jordan cross to kill you?
It’s only a “visual” disguise IIRC, you won’t actually turn into them. Disguised NPCs work like regular disguises, meanwhile non disguised, female, or unique NPCs are only visual, I think their trespassing areas are the same as 47’s suit, but I’m not sure.
Although if I am wrong, and it turns out that you do in fact turn into that NPC, then it would be pretty messy IMO.
Never tried that scenarios, but you can always try yourself
But as far as I tried a few unusual disguises (not targets’), they are treated as hostile.
Although I remember something of playing a contract in a shape of Martinez, and you know what?
Her downstairs conference room was hostile to me, the player
There are actually TWO of each lethal poisions.
Makes me think why not to rename them like “Lehtal Poision Flask” or “Lethal Pill Bottle”.
A couple of fun finds in Chongquing:
-
The three NPCs in the train station are real NPCs. If you shoot one through the glass door, the others will notice, panic, and compromise your current outfit. Since they cannot leave their platform prison, though, they can’t alert any guards.
-
If you KO Jeremy Bolt in the Data Core room before killing Royce and accessing the server, Bolt’s unconscious body will helpfully be clad in a Masked Guard outfit after the cutscene. Handy!
You said on YouTube that you found some unused dialogue from Bradley Paine? Any chance you can post it somewhere?
Sorry for the confusion, but that’s not my YT channel, nor did I post there. The video just popped up in my recommendations and I thought it’s worth sharing here. You’ll have to ask the chap there (no idea if he operates here on the forum under some name…)
Is the poster of the video @AnthonyFuller?
Oh, no worries, thanks for clearing that up
