Things About Hitman You Just Found Out

Personnaly it just didn’t showed in the inventory. Only if it was for a direct loadout. But as you said the inventory is frequently bugged.

I also wonder how the whole things would be if we still had professional mode. Lots of restricted items there.

Yeah, I can’t think of anything illegal you could carry in the briefcase to avoid being spotted with it that you could also use without pulling from within directly. Unless it let you perform the kill action with a sword or axe you put in a briefcase, the applications for this are very limited.

However, one thing did just occur to me… does anyone know if poison placed in a briefcase can be used in the same way as tools?

There are less Assault Rifles available in H2+H3 than H1.

  • In H1, there are 6 AR overall: TAC-4 AR Auto, TAC-4 AR Stealth, RS-15, TAC-4 S/A, TAC-4 AR Desert, TAC-4 S/A Jungle (obtained through mastery and/or challenges related to H1 maps).
  • In H2; there are 2 AR available: Shashka A33H, TAC-4 AR Mk II (obtained through mastery in H2 maps).
  • In H3, there are 2 AR available: The Shashka Beast, Sieger AR552 Tactical (obtained through DLC and ETA respectively).

Several conclusion can be made:

  • For a player who owns H3 only and NO DLC: an assault rifle is available only since last week and the introduction of new ETA with the Sieger unlock.
  • Before that date, no AR was available. H3 players must buy DLC (Wrath) to get at least one of them.
  • A player who owns H3+DLC+H2 will have 4 AR overall, less than H1 alone. Moreover, they are all unsilenced. Few variation between them: only the Beast will have an extended magazine.
  • Owning H1 expansion increases the number of AR available to 10 in total. In addition, some of them are silenced or semi-automatic, making them more various.

In addition, the TAC-4 S/A was nerfed between H1 and H2. The “steady aim” feature was removed and the power was decreased, making it less efficient.

Maybe IOI felt that an AR is no longer a gun that fits the best with the new WoA atmosphere and changed their strategy between H1 and H2. Using an AR is definitely not the best weapon for a Silent Assassin run, and probably there are few players who use them in runs, beside “kill everyone” runs.

Is it a good thing or not? Each player will have his own opinion.

Map: Berlin
Mission: The Liability (ETA)

It seems that the ICA Agents are absent for this mission. When I played this mission suit only, I didn’t see neither the ICA Agent near the fruit bar outside nor an enforcer.

In the free escalation the agents are present but not enforcers and don’t say anything

Speaking of the ICA Titanium Crowbar, it still doesn’t work to unlock the exits on A House Built on Sand :frowning:

By standing the opposite direction of your throw and then crouch as you throw, you will be able to perform a back throw

Largely useless (though it’s faster than a regular opposite direction throw) but a lot of style points :stuck_out_tongue:

I actually discovered this way back in 2017. As an addition, if you holster the rat poison, the illegal item will freeze in place. When you unholster the rat poison again, the illegal item will teleport back to you ( this way you dont have to deal with attracting random guards and can just get the one you want Rat Poison + Sticky Illegal Item = Best distraction - YouTube

The other underappreciated use is using to make explosives fly across the map by using a striker. A sniper works pretty well too. HITMAN - The Portable Rat Missile - YouTube

There’s a way you can throw something like a FE or PT between your legs when your back is turned. CJ did it in some of his streams many months back. It’s pretty hilarious to see in action.

Edit: Then again, that was in H2. I’ve yet to see it in H3.

Haha. The funny thing is watching that second video (The Portable Rat Missile) I now remember watching that years ago.

So this thing has now blown my mind twice.

TIL that you can shoot the water tap / faucet to make it overflow.

I was playing a huge gunfight in VR, and can we stop for a moment to respect how much destruction this game has, especially for a game in that not one shot should ever be fired? There are so many great details. So much things break, get shattered or even better like the soda machine showng its inside etc etc etc
And during this shootout I saw an overflowed sink while knowing I did not do anything like that on this run, then I realized the mirror was also shattered and the water was flowing because of a missed shot.

I love this game.

I just found out from the Easter Eggs section of the Hitman wiki that Salvatore Bravuomo’s name is a translation of Saul Goodman referencing Breaking Bad. That’s my favorite show so I’m ashamed I never figured it out on my own.

Whoa! Didn’t know that. I love Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul, and Saul Goodman is one of the top reasons. Awesome!

I know this is off-topic but speaking about Breaking Bad, I met Aaron Paul in Tampere, Finland in October/November 2020 when he was filming indie-film “Duel”. So humble and heartwarming person.

Hey, people choose avatars and things all the time without really knowing what they are, just because it seems cool. Just clarifying that I’m the real damn deal.
