The Nailer is Hitman Blood Money has actually a brand name.
Its real name is given in the newspaper. You need to kill people with the nailer (of course) to get it mentioned in the article.
It is called: Rieper 2000 Pro Nail Gun (yes, another nod to 47’s name).
A nailgun is such a cool weapon to have in a Hitman videogame! A free silent gun that can be located on all kinds of levels. (It was considered loud in BM though, for whatever reason)
While knocking out everyone except the targets in Colorado (SASO) I found out that Sean Rose has radio contact with the guards on the upper floor of the house. If he finds a weapon on the floor downstairs he doesn’t go to one of those guards to inform them, he just taps his ear. For all the other guards he has to go to them.
On the other hand the guards for Penelope Graves have radio contact with every other guard on the map. If Penelope or one of her guards finds a weapon, they radio the next best militia to pick it up. If this takes too long (and a few of them just refuse to pick up a weapon) they pick it up themselves.
I should clarify that’s just the normal “elite” bodyguard behavior, they call in for other guards to take any weapons away. They can also be “gunflashed”.
Not all targets’ bodyguards exhibit this behavior tho, some of them are normal. I once made a list for the main campaign ones.
Bodyguards of these targets A. Can be gunflashed. B. Will call in for other guards to pick up any guns they find:
When making Passenger Train I imported Alma Reynard’s head only to realise it didn’t look right. It seems they made a no makeup version of Alma but decided not to use it even when she goes to bed, instead they went to the effort of overriding her default texture with the makeup and lightened skin one for every outfit of hers
Today, I played a Freelancer mission in Mendoza, that had the “Suit Only” objective. The tactical wetsuit, that you can find in the armory below the villa is a suit, that you can start with and that counts as a suit when playing contracts. While I didn’t have it on when I started the mission, I was wondering what would happen, if I switched into it during the mission. Turns out it fails the “Suit Only” objective. I later checked the longer description of the objective and it does indeed say, that you can’t change your starting disguise.
