I’ve always assumed that these were typos. Since cities that start with “Santa” in the US are never shortened to “San”.
Is Diana listening in & deliberately ripping off Yates’ bullshit here, or is it just a fun bit of irony that they’re both using the same line to justify killing each other?
“Santa” is for feminine names and “san” and “santo” are for masculine names . “Fortuna” is feminine: “La Fortuna”, so it should be “Santa Fortuna”, if I recall correctly.
I found it very fitting for Martinez in particular, because it paints her as someone who doesn’t really care about the locals and couldn’t be even bothered to learn the town’s correct name.
You are correct
I guess it could be argued that she’s shortening Santa to San as a colloquialism? Maybe the developers thought she would use a slang name the way real locals do, but didn’t realize the gender implication
i found out while watching casino royale le chiffre is wearing a cravat or whatever that little waistband thing around the bottom of a tux shirt is. costume modders: i’ve got a proposal for you
I haven’t noticed what you mean on his outfit but I assume you mean a cummerbund, a cravat goes around the neck.
I posted this in another topic, but I finally noticed that the hilt on the Cat’s Claw dagger resembles the hilt on the Sword of Omens from the Thundercats!
I guess 90% of you are too young to remember. ![]()
HYPE™
Is he not wearing one in the game? His all black tux makes it hard to tell and his jacket is buttoned up. He certainly would have one with that outfit. Especially at the time the movie came out. It wasn’t until just recently skipping a waistcoat (vest) or a cummerbund while in a tux has started to become fashionable (but still rebellious).
In Sapienza in Caruso’s mansion, there’s a hole that lets you climb up and down from the attic to the room next to Caruso’s bedroom with the ship that has the DNA specific virus for Francesca in it. 2000-ish hours in the trilogy and still finding new ways rooms link together!
Elsie Bennett is in Zürich on con. And hey, they acknowledged she was in Hitman 3, which is a bit weird, since its now WoA and also because she voiced quite a few other targets in previous installments.
EDIT: I’ve later looked at it again and saw it also showed her role in Hitman 2. Honestly, they could’ve just merge them all into WoA, but tbh, the way new trilogy is numbered is confusing, so I don’t blame them if they were all separated.
yep that’s the one I was thinking of!
Mission: The Infiltrator (Bangkok)
Poisoning something with the paralytic poison gives a yellow smoke.
If Zen (the naked-torso fighter) is poisoned with the paralytic poison (by poisoning the drug in his room), he will feel sick and weakened, before taking the antidote. Nice touch: after subduing him, he won’t leave the antidote, as he used it on his own.
47 is not as good at covering his tracks as everyone seems to think.
The weightlifting accident will not be ruled as such when they notice someone went through the trouble of securing the weights afterwards.
If I remember correctly, in Blood Money he left the Barebell on his victim.
If you place a gun to weapon lure a guard then pick it up to prank him, be careful! If you place it down a second time then if you pick it up again the guard will be alerted to your behavior like an enforcer. I guess they don’t like being messed with
Not my discovery, but found a Youtube video about an interesting feature from the Banker mission in Paris.
If 47 KOs and hides Agent Smith’s body, he needs to save on his own after the torture segment in the basement. Even though IOI devs can’t think about everything, it’s nice to see they anticipate such situation.

For those who refuse to believe Smith could even be useful. I actually liked that he was competent in this level. A few more times where we save his butt and then I’d like him to be useful again once.
Imagine how crazy it will be in 22 years, if IOI is still in business, still making Hitman games with an (agreed upon) AI David Bateson voice, and we celebrate the series’s 47th birthday.
