In Marrakesh, posters around the school showing a map of Africa appear to recognise the independence of the full Western Sahara territory, possibly implying the school has been abandoned since the 1970s when the partial annexation took place.
Also, in Bangkok, tampering with an already completed mix after Jordan starts singing causes him to angrily storm upstairs and drink a beer. What I didn’t know was that him storming by wakes up a sleeping crew member, who voices his concern at Jordan drinking and gets told to shut up in response.

I lived and worked in Morocco from 2008-2010. The official, national stance is that the Western Sahara belongs to Morocco, and maps in schoolrooms, agency offices, and for sale by street vendors reflect this.
As an American citizen and kinda technically an American government contractor, we were told to ignore the issue as much as possible with our local counterparts and not talk about it, as the US position is that Morocco, despite being a long-standing US ally, does not claim sovereignty over the Western Sahara.

This happens a lot with overseas work, when the guest nation doesn’t agree with sovereignty issues of the host nation, the SOP is simply not to talk about it. Hard to do when they’re waging a war over it and it’s all anyone in the guest wants to talk about

I’ve recently purchased the French version of the Prima Guide of Hitman Blood Money. In this book, the pictures show an early version of the game.
When you look at the bottom left, three elements are shown (health, light, disguise).
I know it was common at that time. In order to get the book published alongside the game release, the authors have access to the game before the official release. This copy was generally an early version of the game. The pictures confirm it was the case.

Lights did play a factor in H2: Silent Assasin, Contracts and Blood Money. You could hide in the shadows to a certain degree and in H2 and Contracts you even got Night Vision Goggles that resembled those of Sam Fisher.

I just thought it was something IO had come up with for the content instead of being shoehorned product placement.

Oh, there’s a whole restaurant in the mission? Oh, uhh, that’s… weeeiiird then… Hm.
I noticed the logo when looking at the item in freelancer, and remembered seeing a few years ago images of Eminem serving spaghetti at some limited-time pop up restaurants for the memes.
Turns out it became a much bigger thing after that, wow…

To be fair, considering they brought in Eminem, I’d have actually be disappointed with them if they hadn’t brought in the Mom’s Spagetti. I’d they’re going to keep giving us useless thrown melee reskins, they might as well do it this way.

Moms Spagetti was one of the food stands all around the track at the Abu Dhabi Gran Prix last year. Eminem was the Saturday night performer. I had no idea it was a company of his. I thought they were just being cheeky with their pasta stands.

Recently got around to completing the DLCs and Arcade. Is Isle of Sgail permanently stuck at 99% for me because of McGregor? Bangkok as well probably because of Bruce Lee. Bummer.

Note you don’t need the DLCs to get 100% on the locations, unless they stop giving free Arcade access during the re-runs. You just need to take advantage of the opportunity to complete the necessary challenges.
You would need the DLCs to get the items for 100% item collection, but if “100% item collection” is shown anywhere in the game (other than Freelancer), I don’t know about it.

If those challenges locked into DLC and freeplay expired, you are stuck with 99% either way.
I personally didn’t complete Disruptor Returns (was aiming to do it later, and never expected it to be terminated) and didn’t buy linked DLC (same reason), so now I’m stuck at 99% with missed ET and incopletable Arcade mission.
