Ah man, that second video brings me back… why can’t we destroy cameras with heavy items anymore?
This is some clean stuff though, dude. Awesome job.
edit: Ohh you were talking about Headshots based on distance vs. the back of someone’s head. Right.

It’s funny to read that, cause on console the hitbox for heads is not working right at the moment. I had so many times that i shot the head and it didn’t kill the target. The little cross you get when you do a non lethal body shot is right at the head and it doesn’t kill. Sometimes even two shots or three didn’t kill the target. Using a pistol on console in hitman 3 feels even more clonky than in hitman 2.
In H2, the civilians in Whittleton Creek would walk to a secret guard if they saw a weapon on the ground. But now it seems like the civilians will walk to the regular guards rather than the secret ones
Not sure if this is what you mean about the hitboxes but you can get consistent headshots on console. You just have aim slightly above the head (especially at range) ![]()
AVGN reviews Hitman: “This game is my fucking ass, nah but seriously this game has some interesting mechanics”.
That’s good, must be because they tweaked the AI for the ICA Agents they decided to backport it over to them. Still don’t know why Corvo Black and Mateo Perez don’t have this AI however.
I wonder if that’s a bug or if it’s intended and the game has simulated bullet drop?
Bullet drop is never accurate in games though.
Depending on how the weapon was zeroed, a 230grain .45 acp (what 47 would be shooting from his signature pisrol) would drop 16 or 17 inches at 100 yards but It would drop only 3 inches at 50 yards.
Well, I just “discovered” the ice anvil easter egg in Haven, which I had absolutely no idea about, by complete accident…
I’ve never heard of this ice anvil egg.
Glad you said this, because somehow it’s passed me by as well.
Grab the ice anvil and then stop and swop it to HITMAN 3.

Not sure who have found this first, but I saw on livestream of (REDACTED) that if you conceal a micro remote taser in mailbox, it can work as electrocution phone. It is very useful in both main missions, as Cassidy and Vholes will retrieve it.
The Romania train commandos have the same helmet lights as the ICA Heavy Troopers. I feel like they’re a (very well done) reskin.
Edit: Oh even the shoulder pads are the same.
If anyone wants to try this I think you have to trigger the storm, then go head to the area in the picture of the island and there will be a tree with coconuts that you can shoot down, and apparently once you shoot them they immediately turn into an ice anvil? The woman might need to be under it. I read this online, haven’t tested.
The man who got served badly-prepared fugu in Hokkaido now works as a bodyguard in Miami, he’s in the security room at the top of the Kronstadt building. He will talk about it with the other guard, who refers to him as Al (probably Alfred/Allan or something in contracts mode).
He apparently doesn’t know that Kronstadt made the machine that saved his life (and possibly was used by 47 to kill Erich Soders), but his guard buddy tells him. I think he also says it was “a few weeks ago”.
Yes, that should be the way. I ran into it when going for The Pleasure achievement and just felt like shooting the coconuts as I was standing there, so I wasn’t sure if it’s related to it or not, but triggering the storm is enough (though I’m not sure if all targets have to be dead or not). Was quite surprised to say the least… Apparently the whole thing is a Jack Frost 2 reference or something…?
this isn’t really something i just found out, but something i remembered and uncovered again
Diana in Mendoza saying “That was a parallel universe” to Tamara Vidal asking about Blake Dexter reminded me about this quote from Hakan Abrak (CEO of IOI)
Is Hitman: Absolution a direct follow-up to Blood Money?**
Hakan Abrak, lead producer, Hitman: Absolution: It’s not set in a specific Hitman timeline. The setting is a bit different and we’re taking the story somewhere else
https://blog.playstation.com/2012/01/18/hitman-absolution-qa-io-interactive-goes-for-the-throat/
pretty interesting quote from Hakan. thought it would be interesting to bring up now that the “Is Absolution canon?” discussion is being brought up again
I doubt it, while similar in design upon closer look they aren’t. The shoulder pads in HITMAN 3 are connected to the vest and the helmet has no chin strap, face shield, and obviously is missing the second light.
Not a lot of assets from Absolution to my knowledge are present in the current trilogy outside of a few. Lenny’s Pizza appears in one of the levels either in HITMAN 2016 or HITMAN 2.
I’d say given the context and time of the interview this was to avoid spoilers for anyone who hasn’t played since its revealed Diana lived. Plus this interview it pretty old and we don’t know Hakans opinion on Absolution’s continuity with the series currently. ![]()
I view it as it’s events happened but loosely. So we shouldn’t take what happened in Absolutions Story as fully canon, but only bits and pieces.
