Things About Hitman You Just Found Out

I was dicking around in a Landslide featured contract since I lost SA. So I sniped 2 targets from the church tower. And as expected, nearby guards started shooting in my general direction. So, I was going to go down the drainpipe on the back. The moment I went over the ledge one of the guard’s shots released the bell, sending it crashing below. I’ve never seen that happen before. Pretty funny.

Don Yates will run to the shrine to pray when he’s all alone without any guards to protect him. Looks to be triggered similarly to how lockdown>panic works on Alma.

You can also skip dialogs in the game by putting something in briefcase. After you press the conceal button when holding the briefcase. The dialog starts playing but the timer will be still freezing.

Found a way to get SA when confronting Agent Montgomery as Rolf Hirschmüller (club owner). Normally your SA cover will be blown when using this method. However If you knock out Montgomery’s “bodyguard” before hand, as well as the guards in and outside the office. You will be able to do the shootout and still get the SA rating. There will be no guards to investigate the “commotion”.

It’s an easy way to complete the level, all the necessary targets will come to you.

I recently just found out about The Alantide Space Program challenge and how the shuttle blows up midway through liftoff because of the forum. That was one of the wildest challenges I’ve ever seen to date.

Also, muffin boosting. I’ve yet to try it, but I would like to try getting into Silvio’s mansion during the night missions in Sapienza (especially The Author).

I could be wrong, and I know what you’re talking about, but if you can find any bricks - those seem to have more particles after breaking, and seem to have more consistent results when trying to do the boosts to get out-of-bounds. Good luck and enjoy the sights.

Not sure if this is new as it’s been awhile since I played Paris but the prompt to push Novikov they added a neck break then a push? I don’t recall that.

It’s always been that way, even in 2016.

Less XP is granted in Contracts Mode than it does in a Main Mission/Escalation…
(Disregard Objective Completed, that’s tied with the number of Target eliminations)

Contracts mode
HITMAN 3_20210503012333

vs. Main Mission/Escalation
HITMAN 3_20210503001015
I feel like I should report this as a bug, but the XP system really doesn’t do much in this game anyway… :man_shrugging:

edit: yeah, that’s probably by design.

I think this is by design. To prevent you from gaining mastery quickly through cheap contracts.

Eh, probably. But again, the level system doesn’t really do anything, so it shouldn’t really matter if some 800+ level person just grinded that one Luca Wood contract over and over.
Let XP be XP, dangit!

This happened to me a while back too when I was testing out the guards´ reaction to sniping. I was still up on the tower when they hit the bell and it started crashing. Nearly shat myself from the sudden noise…

Yeah of course. It becomes obsolete after reaching mastery 20 for a location. But you still could use this method to reach mastery 20 and never do a challenge on any map. Not saying that thats easier.

I once got into a shootout in Hokkaido, and the guards accidentally killed Soders with their terrible aim.

Here’s something that I’ve known for a while, just now getting around to posting it…

In H2, I did a somewhat “simultaneous” kill of targets in Colorado (more like a kill-streak, with each target dying separately instead of one big accident). When I tried to do the same for H3, (without getting into too much detail - I’ll just leave it at) the timing and or routes must be slightly different than they were in H2.

Now I’m really curious how different the timing was for them in H1.

Yup. Only thing consistent is the deactivation of the cameras system, opening locks and, ummm, that’s so far what I recall that remains the same score in both modes. Landslide is a nice farming ground with the locked doors!

Finally found out what Rico looks like without his glasses (no, the museum mugshot doesn´t count). Much cooler!
