It should break after the second throw iirc, they got nerfed for H3.
I use the DTI pistol, one shot to the chest, foot, leg, arm and waist usually lowers their health to one or two throws. I haven’t done a food kill in a while so hopefully I’ve mentioned the correct parts.

You have to use Krugermeier for food contracts.
Shoot NPCs 4 times (I think legs will fit the best) and then throw an apple twice at a male and then a food to kill. For female you throw a food to kill straight after shooting
Well, there’s a new(?) method with “Headshots Only”.
fml (edit: Nah. I’m genuinely curious as to which gun is the one… Next part might be figuring the right distance. 50 meters?
