… and conditions

Neither do I. I play in accordance with the lore built around the character we’re playing as. Completely sensible.

If you’ve played even one Elusive Target, then oh yes you do.
the direct translation for this is: idiotic restrictions
don’t tell the government this but i’ve played elusive targets a plenty without the one shot, you die, you fail conditions
to be honest all of the DLC missions have straightforward subplots that are easy to understand. they’re a breath of fresh air compared to the usual messy craziness in WOA
No, the direct translation for this is: the way a real Hitman player plays. Any schmuck can turn the game on and just play any old way. If I didn’t try to adhere to perfection, then there’s no challenge at all. I could finish the game with hardly any form of resistance. Every target is easy without adhering to SA whenever possible, in the cleanest and most discreet way possible, as the character we play as would do. If you think that is “idiotic,” wait until I introduce you to Monopoly.
But you’ve played unmodified ETs, right? You’ve played with idiotic restrictions. You’ve played ET Arcade mode? You’ve played with idiotic restrictions. You’ve played any of the Sniper maps? Idiotic restrictions. Escalations? Featured Contracts? Hell, you’ve played Hokkaido, Dubai and Berlin for the first time? Idiotic restrictions.
Hey, push me down that alley, I gotta go there.
I think you’ve been pushed enough for today, the moment i saw you say
i knew this argument would become an unsalvagable mess of ass if i properly responded. so this is not a response and do not take it as a chance to go down that alley. this is a plea for you to shut up and move on.
A rather uncouth way to ask, but I’ll take it because I have enough of a headache right now.
After how they botched the Hollow Earth plot line in GvK, I can’t blame the poor guy.
For the most part I never liked the time-limited knock outs. That and stuff like targets who arrive or leave the level on their own at a certain moment, or targets with overly long and/or non-circular routes. Imho one should always be able to do the same thing regardless if they’ve been playing the level for one minute or one hour.
I see some desirable aspects of that, and some non-desirable aspects of that, so I actually can’t decide if I agree or not. Wow, it’s rare that I’m genuinely can’t make up my mind.
I’m unreal
47, as seen in his dreams, have killed people by exploding their car and throwing a giant light rig on them (which did kill civilians) but no, 47 wasn’t doing it how a real 47 would’ve done it. Makes total sense man.
Key phrase.
Still in training under Ort-Meyer at the time, had not yet solidified his professionalism and perfectionism as it was once he was released, plus no casualties and nobody knows who did it or who ordered it, so still fits either way.
The canonicity of which is questionable for reasons laid out several times elsewhere, and even if true, is then the fault of IOI for breaking from the standards they themselves set for the character 20 years ago.
Also questionable, even if the kill is canon, as that’s more of a result of the game mechanics than a story beat, plus it is possible to evacuate people from the stage before the rig drops, making additional deaths not an inevitability, and the dream sequence in question shows only Novikov dying, not anyone else.
I give a lot of thought to these; explaining apparent inconsistencies is what I do.
Why are we arguing what the real way of playing Hitman is, when the game allows you to play it almost any way you want?
We should ask this question to Oscar Lafayette.
Because it was a burn I knew would work in the context of the conversation at the time.
Alright are you ready for this controversial opinion? Here goes… I think Hitman 2016’s suit pose for 47 is a lot better than him standing up straight like he does in 2 and 3.
What is your reason why? Not arguing here just really curious
