This is great to hear as SE5 is also my favourite of the series so far. Picked it up in a sale towards the end of last year and have been playing quite a lot ever since. I’ve played the entire campaign (and almost all DLC levels) in co-op mode. And I’ve already successfully taken out 150 odd players in Invasion Mode, which is also great fun.
Doesn’t really make much difference for me as I usually always wait until games are on sale. Prepared to wait again for this to get it at a lower price. One of the only exceptions to this rule is Hitman games!
Completed the playtest/demo for this yesterday and mostly enjoyed it but it was rather easy. The medicine requirements seemed over-simplified for my taste, I would prefer having to figure out a mixture of poultices rather than just symptom=colour. The only thing you need to find is the dosage. Also very simple if they don’t know what wrong, you just chuck a tester potion at them and then it’s 50/50 which one you want basically.
However it seems more complexity may be part of the full game as there were some “diagnostic tools” not unlocked (as seen in the trailer, examining the eyes closer) but I think it won’t have too much of an effect on the difficulty. It could do with a bit of polish and minor changes before release but not bad.
AC Shadows artbook was leaked and it’s very beautiful. I was very interested in the game before, but between this and the good looking previews I am hyped. Please be good
Maybe my current pile of books gives it away too lol. I need to add some actual history books. I wont mind recommendations
