Fingers crossed it’s more of an RE4make remake than an RE2make remake! Claire looks a lot better here imo
At the very least, they’re giving it a slightly different title so there won’t be quite as much confusion whether a person’s talking about the OG or the remake like there was with the other games

code veronica isn’t an action game and they definitely shouldn’t treat it like one! it needs to be the same style as 2 and 3, if only because it’s about a T-variant (so the enemies are mostly slow-moving zombies and not like re4’s ganados)

Honestly, I think that was a really strong SGF, solid 8 or 9 out of 10. Lots of good announcements.
I’ve been meaning to play the Final Fantasy VII remakes, but now that the final part is now on the horizon, I think I may need to get Remake and Rebirth soon.

I mentioned after the GA how I loved the music at the end of the Control Resonant reveal trailer. Well, glad to know it wasn´t a one-off, cause the one in the new trailer slaps even more, and I really hope the game itself will be full of it.

I was referring to the quality of the remakes themselves, not action vs survival horror. In other words, I hope it doesn’t needlessly change and streamline to get rid of elements that made the original special like RE2make, but comes from more of a place of love for the original with a ton of both faithful recreations and new features like RE4make.
What they need to do is stop making fucking remakes!
ah okay, I see RE2r and 4r pretty identical in that regard honestly (3r being the big outlier). for example, tyrant is almost a nonentity in the original but ends up being the thing everyone remembers 2r for. the only thing that’s egregious is the A/B scenarios
ive played the originals for the first time this year and while they are still very playable, the series chronology is a bit of a mess… there are worse uses of their time than reimagining the games for modern hardware. playing them back to back and seeing what changed is great, and it allows them to be more focused with what gets brought over to the new sequels
Irrelevant. The series is not finished yet, so they shouldn’t be remaking anything yet. New players shouldn’t even be tempted to think what happens in the remakes is part of the actual story.

Don’t know @MrOchoa’s thoughts, but mine are that it’s bullshit. Godzilla does not cameo in other characters’ media, they cameo in his. Period.
