Picked up our new fully electric SUV yesterday. It came installed with it’s winter tires. Looking forward to the summer tires with alloy wheels.

It’s been a awesome upgrade from our small Toyota and with Oil prices rising, it came at the perfect time.

So would you say that change was simply clever?

As Clever as a car purchase can ever be, which is also just a bottomless pit you throw money in. It’s still cheaper then our old small car with gas prices. But what is Clever, is the company that delivers our power to our car and house. It’s called Clever.

Well it is nice to know that the Old World also has their own version of the “Simply clever” stuff. I think Skoda outlets here name their payment schemes like that. Clever, Simply Clever and the like but I wouldn’t know, I drive a KIA compact.

Clever is just a newer Danish electricity provider from 2018, it’s not affiliated with Skoda. However a lot of Car dealerships have campaigns with Clever. Buying a new EV, you get a free installation of a charging box and 1 year of free power to the car. Both at home and on the go.

Clever got the largest network of charging stations around Danmark .

Oh… Well that is pretty ironic because in my country the Skoda slogan is “Simply clever.”

I wish my country had a robust EV grid, and a good EV culture and an EV manufacturing industry. At this point I would take my country making Internal Combustion vehicles again.

I believe it’s the same internationally.

In Scandinavia EV’s really taken off, I’m unsure about Sweden. Yet both Norway and Denmark, the majority of new cars bought is fully electric.

However it’s not the same in Germany and other European countries.

Congratulations on the new car!

Thanks, the sad part is that I barely get to use it. My better half will mainly use it for her commute to work. I live 5 min away from my work on bike.

But I’ll take every opportunity I get to drive it.

Alan Wake novelization. I am disappointed that it isn’t called Departure, with Alan Wake as the author

You know you’re a family dad when the thought of washing your car is exciting.

I talked with another father on the road and he forbid me to wash my car with just auto / car shampoo and my normal car brush.

So I bought:

  • high-pressure cleaner (which has many useful applications in a household)
  • foam canon
  • 20L wash bucket
  • Microfiber car towel
  • Microfiber wash glove
  • Pre wash
  • Auto shampoo
  • Foam boost
  • Coating to protect the surface

I mainly wanted the bucket, towel, glove and pre-wash and shampoo. The other two were a package deal with the rest. Best value.

The idea is that pre-wash will remove 90-95% of the dirt like sand. Creating a layer around sand and the other dirt. So it doesn’t scratch the paint.

Then you finish it off with the shampoo. It made sense to me, to protect the car.

Arriving Monday.
My first major phone purchase since 2019 when I got my current Xiaomi Mi9T Pro.
I like it so much for clean screen with no notches or holes for selfie cam because it has sliding mechanism and is hidden in the body.
I wish modern or future phones had similar technology for clean screens.
This one also has protruding camera which is shit as well.
But despite of these cons I want to upgrade, while waiting for another clean screen smartphone will take ages or will never happen at all.
Just have to come to terms with it

I visited my favourite clothing store, while on a weekend getaway in Aarhus. I came for 1-2 items and ended up with a tad more.

A fated black tshirt from Iron & Resin

A plaid shirt from Pendleton

A Denim Jacket from Howler Brothers

A Oiled Canvas Jacket from Iron & Resin

A smaller store full of personal curated clothing items that focus on quality and craftmanship. With a very personal touch and service.

Picked up some (a lot) of my fav honey from their kiosk in the Denver Aeroport. Grabbed the bourbon whipped honey, hot honey, lavender whipped honey (my fav), cardamom whipped honey, cinnamon honey, saffron honey, and vanilla bean honey. I really wish they did all of them as a whipped version. You get less honey by volume but it’s perfect for spreading on toast.

I wasted 80€ on Resident Evil Requiem. What a piece of shit, i played it for maybe 2 or 3 hours and i fucking hate every second of it.
Then something bugged in the crafting menu and i wasted some resources and i stopped playing.

Your stance on the game is it solely about bugs/preformance issues? Or the game in itself?

Man, if I had the time I should have made Bluecifer my April Fool’s avatar. Stupid gainful employment, I can’t wait until my contract is up.

More about the game itself, the Parts with Leon are very, very actiony, very much like RE4, a game that i already dont because of this.

The Parts with Grace so far are more horrorfocused, but also not my cup of tea, because its more hiding and distracting enemies.

The one bug i encountert just broke the camels back, maybe i will pick the game up again, but for now i’m good.
