Have you ever played it before? Or is this just for parity with the good old console collection?
Ferrari yellow? No their engineers just have performance anxiety.
Apologies, that joke was terrible.

Haven’t played it since it was released. I played it on my Xbox 360 back in the day. Now it’s time to replay it on PC.
Wow I think I replay it once a year. I hope you enjoy revisiting it after all that time.
I tried to replay it back in it’s day on multiple occasions. But I could never muster enough willpower to get past the early farm missions.
I look forward to playing it again and to try out Undead nightmares. Which I sadly never got to experience, other than shooting some zombies at a friend’s house.
I been wanting to replay it throughout the years. Sadly it’s was one of the games that wasn’t very accessible, unless you had a PS3 or a Xbox 360.
I’m replaying it at the Moment too, damn farm missions are a slog to get through, but its a great game, sadly i dont enjoy RDR2.
Meanwhile I was disappointed that herding cattle wasn’t unlocked as a minigame after The Tempest Looms! It’s a cowboy game and we can’t be cowboys? C’mooooon
P.S. Yes I know it’s not strictly a cowboy game and is in fact about the dying of the old west and the new age ![]()
Odd, I don’t think I have seen anyone else think that. The ranch missions might not be as exciting as the others but they aren’t that tedious (except for the herding ones)
Alright I have enough patience to get through the farm chapters but this is the musings of a madman.
Well at least there is no farming in that game.
I think I have attempted getting through it 4-7 times in the past. I struggle with a lot of game openings. Blood Money is another example, where 80% the time I stop before completing even completing first mission.
If I’m not 100% engaged from the start, there is a slim chance I will even get past the first mission.
Well you are an older and more patient person now so here’s hoping. I like to believe a slow first act is necessary sometimes and usually they are justified by the rest of the game.
I don’t mind slow, as long as it isn’t tedious. The narrative sounding why you are there is well crafted, the gameplay on the other hand. Hopefully it won’t bother me as much, it won’t stop me in my tracks this time.
I suppose therein lies the rub, the narrative importance of the ranch missions only becomes evident in the denouement and end of the game.
That being said I always liked the MacFarlane’s as characters so that was always enough plus you unlock the marshal’s missions after the third ranch mission and that is where the game introduces the combat so those missions have more momentum.
Now I just need to find a moment to play the game, have played nothing but BF6 religiously since October.
I like the cows! Unfortunately I didn’t know the bull will attack you in free roam ![]()
I wonder if it’s possible to play that game without breaking the law
only fire if fired upon, lasso people, and make all your money from gambling (which seems to be legal?) and sales. Only use horses you bought or caught wild, spare when you have the option, aaaaaand try not to trespass but that one’s tricky to know if you are sometimes.
Sometimes the missions force you to commit crimes (like crashing a homemade tank into a fort and gatling gunning everyone down, blowing up a convoy or robbing a train). So maybe you could argue duress in those situations? Especially as technically, John is under duress from government agents the whole game.
Hmm damn, now you’re all getting me interested in trying to get further into RDR1. Never got out of that initial farm area. and yeah while the MacFarlanes (especially Bonnie with her "I’m the head-honcho of cowgirls) was cool, some of the gameplay felt quite tedious.
Though maybe that’s just Rockstar games controls in general, very weird to sprint by mashing a button…
Buddy’s posting smut on the Hitman Forum.
In some countries I could even be imprisoned because of just owning it. The violence is pretty benign, even compared to games such as Postal 2, let alone modern games such as the newer Mortal Kombat.
My purchases over past week
New disguise for my Mi9T Pro
New face companion
And a new look and home for my earphones
A sealed copy of The Nations or Alien Nations as it’s called in Germany.
Learned of it from one of Sseth’s videos ![]()
Interestingly enough, the soundtrack was composed by a young upstarter named Jesper Kyd. Hopefully he got far in his career ![]()
Dang, that OST has some serious C47 Colombia vibes… Gotta check this game out.
