Bought 2 More 18x24 Frames.
Hanged up my third and final John Carpenter Movie Poster.
Purchased a Raiders of the Lost Ark 18x24 Poster Reprint of the original theatrical poster. Which will be the 2nd to last poster I hang up with the last one being My Bloody Valentine coming this September. While yes I do have more space to hang up stuff I’m reserving that for something very special and of course the various pictures my partner and I take cause adulting
Fables Compendium 1
Just pre-ordered Oxenfree 2. Out in like 2 days woohoo
Crazy that we finally have a sequel to that 2016 game… Gosh I’m so excited for some supernatural spoops and a return to that neat narrative adventure style.
This is the hardcover strategy guide for Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.
Now, I really don’t usually buy strategy guides, (the internet is usually useful enough for a quick search) but I got this one because
A. Came across a deal back in May that it was being sold for like half-price on amazon pre-order, lower than the standard cover. Now that’s a strange deal.
B. I figured I’d be getting the game next month anyhow (which I did)
C. BOTW was massive and I figured (and heard) that somehow TOTK was even more. Would be useful if I need to find something I didn’t know I’d missed…
It is pretty darn thick and just shy of 500 pages…
I don’t care what others say, for me Tomb Raider IV will stay the best Tomb Raider of all time ![]()
I just bought Red Dead Redemption II.
I know nothing about the game nor have I watched anyone play it. But it was on sale for 70% on Steam and all my friends who have played it said they enjoyed it so I thought I’d give it a try.
As long as you’re not a completionist and don’t look at everything that there is to do in the game as a huge checklist, you’ll certainly enjoy the game ![]()
Sadly I’m a completionist ![]()
I’m the guy who went town to town in Skyrim completeting every quest I could find. I guess I can expect this to drain a lot of hours then. lol
Ha ha ha, you are so screwed. RDR2 was the first game I decided to 100 percent, it has turned me off the concept wildly.
That being said the game is super good, just really try to pace yourself when you go in for 100 percent.
I do that to with TES games but RDR2 takes it to a whole different level. The game keeps tracks of all the animals in the game (234 of 'em), how many have you tracked, killed, skinned for each species; craftable items such as clothing and weapons, keeping track of Arthur’s weight, you name it.
There’s just too much so yes, just focus on missions / side-missions and do side activities when you feel like it and you’ll enjoy the game so much more. ![]()
After a year of having a spider’s web cracked screen on my Galaxy 10+ phone, I’ve finally gotten that fixed… in a way…
I was going to have it fixed on its own, but after browsing some local places my dad and I found that sourcing the parts and the repairs usually came out around over 200$, very pricey.
I was a little against it, but he gave me a very convincing argument to spend just a little more on a used, newer phone. Galaxy S21 at a similar price.
So, I’ve got that now.
Looks barely used, it’s half an inch smaller, and I’m going to lament the loss of the 3.5mm headphone jack and expandable SD storage, but most/all of my data is here, though account details for many apps/sites needs to be re-entered…
Plus I’ll still have the old phone I can use if I ever need it for something.
Gonna look for a case soon, and definitely a screen protector that I neglected to get for the last phone.
At least the S21 doesn’t have a curved screen! I think that’s what did me in last time, I’ve dropped it many times before, but this one time it must have landed at that perfect fracture angle…
Your Popps sounds like a smart guy.
He’s a big techie that’s for sure ![]()
Bought new glasses today. Decided to go with a more bold choice. They are made in Switzerland with a 3D-printer and don’t weight a thing. Also they don’t have any screws in them.
They suit your very well
I didn’t know that they can be made with a 3D printer, that’s amazing!
Those are nice. Do they have only that style and are they expensive? It would be nice to have a pair of glasses without screws to be lost.
