When your Yorgos Lanthimos Blu-ray arrives in the post…
Got the Mass Effect Trilogy at a 85% discount, wich was roughly 210 MX pesos (between 8 to 12 US dollars) for the 3 games.
Best investment in entertainment this year.
This was a purchase I made like earlier this year, I think in May?
I kinda forgot about it though until just now
The Stanley Parable Ultra Deluxe Collector’s Edition (just a small one, which is neat) featuring an included Stanlurine/Figley!! (Stanley Figurine!)
Also a guide on making your own Reassurance Bucket, which, hey I probably need now more than ever haha
Mr Bear got some new fancy clothing. He’s totally fashion drafting from Peaky Blinders, so much so that you can’t even get that outfit anywhere except in the UK and Ireland. Many thanks to @Silvereyes for helping get it over the pond.
I ordered a 3D Printer from Amazon (for Black Friday) and should be getting it later today. The Elegoo Neptune 3 Max. It’s a filament based printer. I debated on getting a resin printer (for the amount of detail you can get from prints), but decided against it since you need a couple other steps to properly finish the prints. Washing and curing. The filament type will have the visible layers. But that’s not much of an issue.
I don’t believe this will come with any filament, but that’s okay since I still have a few spools of (I think) PLA that I bought some years back when I was using a ‘PrintrBot’ 3D printer. That one I assembled myself (it was cheaper than buying it already assembled). And while I did print a few thing with that - it still needed to be fine tuned in regards to the nozzle position (height) and appropriate temperature for whatever filament you were using.
As for making models, I do have some experience with modeling. Some with AutoCAD and Sketchup. I did download FreeCAD, but will still need to learn my way around that. When I was using the PrintrBot I did have to convert some file types. I’m hoping that won’t be as much of an issue like it was. One thing I didn’t have a lot of knowledge on was including supports for prints that go outward with nothing underneath them… Surely/hopefully that will be taken care of with the FreeCAD or some other program.
I’ll likely post about this in the ‘What’s New’ topic after I get it unpacked. I believe there’s a bit of assembly required, but nothing like when I had to build the PrintrBot.

Supposed to be shopping for others but I found these. I hope they are decent b/c the discount was steep and they will look great with my dark green wool coat.
