In general. They’re time-consuming, annoying, and there are a lot of them I haven’t touched. Once I’m done with them, it’s just the challenges inherent to the individual maps that can be completed during gameplay, and then I’m done, aside from any challenges IOI releases from this time forward.

Ok, I realized about 2 hours ago that I definitely play Hitman too much.
Without going into specifics, my wife recently changed jobs, and is working for a new employer; same amount of money and less work from home opportunities, but far more respect for her work than her previous employer. She is blowing them away with the kind of stuff she can do (data analysis and other stuff with excel spreadsheets), and is making herself a rockstar after a few short weeks. She’s got something coming up soon that they want her to do that she says is so far below the bar of what she’s used to doing, they’ll be left speechless when she delivers the product.
So, she tells me this, and immediately, my mind goes to a Hitman analogy. I said, “So you’re like 47 and they’re a client. They’re asking him to take someone out, but they don’t want anyone to know they hired him so they’re asking if he can maybe snipe the target from far enough away that no one will see him, and he’s just staring back, and says that he could do that, but instead, he’ll make it so that they’ll think the target fell in the river and drowned, and nobody will even suspect it was an assassination, and the client is wide-eyed and says, ‘you can do that?!’.”
And she just stares back at me for a second and says, “yeah, exactly.” She’s seen me play enough to get the analogy, but she’s probably wondering why I felt the need to make one and share it with her.

To anyone reading: You should never insert cotton swabs into your ears as a means of removing wax. There are plenty of safer ways to clean your ears even if they aren’t totally comfortable. Eve a GP will do a clean of your ears if it reaches a problem stage.

Well there are ear syringes, you can always irrigate the ear canal which is what Zero alludes to doing, I know some people will use the point of a soft washcloth to do it and failing those you can book an appointment with a doctor to have the ear cleaned.

Visited Shakespeare’s hometown today.
We were at his birthplace, visited his wife’s cottage and were around his new place, where it was supposed to be.
We actually entered only Hathaway’s Cottage and were only just around other two places.
Maybe will visit them some other time.
I liked the town itself. Quite lovely place, cozy streets, beautiful cottages and houses and other buildings.
As my mom said he chose a great place to be born

Wouldn’t know, my ears don’t get blocked often but my dad’s ears do. Whenever the old methods don’t work he just sees the doctor.

Got it sorted out. We fell off the list of our buildings bulk deal last month when the building renewed the contract. They cut me a refund and are sending a tech out to swap to the new equipment tomorrow with no install fee. The new deal has faster Internet too. 155mpps to 1gb

My sister’s heading back to Uni, I’m getting a new job soon, and the biggest thing of all - for the first time in my life (sans covid lockdowns) I’m NOT going back to school again in September… This all feels scary and WEIRD.

I knew after the prices on this years Miami Gran Prix the Vegas one next year was gonna be pricey. I have no issue donating 8bucks to get a on a wait list, but really? The Las Vegas Gran Prix Foundation? I’d be shocked if that foundation lasts more than 3 years and gobsmacked if more than 15 cents on the dollar goes to the mission (fighting hunger in Vegas). The rest will surely go to the salaries of the handful of peeps running it. Collect it all, pay yourselves well, dump the rest to an already established food kitchen. Zero actual work needed.
