Really sorry to see that Swang, hope you are able to at least get it repaired than have to buy a replacement.
I’m afraid I’ve lost the hot water and heating in my house. Hoping the issue can be resolved, but if not, may be looking at a new boiler since the current boiler is basically too old to be getting new parts for. Very annoying but part of the risk of buying a house.
Going to be at least a month until I get internet. I opted for full fibre, they’ve been ripping out the town streets in the last few months putting it in. My provider offered it so I assumed it was already put in. But actually, whilst the main street has it, it doesn’t go all the way to my house, and they’ll have to spend 2 days digging through the parking and through my front lawn putting it in.
According to the engineer, this work will have to be done sooner or later as full fibre in a couple of years will probably become mandatory option for all internet contracts in the town. So yeah, annoying, and my neighbours may get annoyed too, but once it finally arrives, my internet download speed will be 10 times quicker than what it was.
I guess finally, something I haven’t really talked about, but in the last few months, I’ve been getting into Warhammer 40,000. Slowly building up an army, most of which, like most of my stuff, is in storage. I’ve been going to a war gaming club once a week and it’s fun and gets me out of the house. I don’t really see many people outside of work.
My coworker got me into it and he’s going to give me a painting tutorial on Thursday. I hope to start painting my own models soon, I’ll maybe share them on here. Really need something to do since I have no TV and internet and most other things.
Warhammer 40K is getting its 10th Edition soon, and it may be a full game reset rather than just being a big update. Kind of hoping its a bit of a jumping on point as the game is very complicated and definitely has a lot of bloat issues. My Tau army is also getting a new model sculpt of Commander Farsight which looks super cool, hope to be able to pick him up when he comes out in late April.
