taking my kids to school this morning, my eldest (7) saw one of her friends.
as we were walking, her friend started introducing one of five imaginary unicorns she was bringing to school that day, and was about to reel off the names of all the others. my daughter interrupted her with quite the non-sequitur:
“i have to tell you something.”
“what?”
“before they become mummies, they have to have their insides taken out and put in jars.”
like, what conversation did she think she was having? love her.

Despite it raining I took advantage of the soft ground to put in my lawn lights for the year. I usually don’t have them in for winter for obvious reasons. Seeing as how the spring season starts on Saturday and it’s gonna be in the 50-60’s now it’s time to get ready for warmer weather.

Ratchet & Clank was one of my all time favourite video game series as a kid. Never got around to checking out the newer games though. But managed to get this free on PlayStation

They’re making a Stellaris board game on Kickstarter. Only £79 (plus P&P). I don’t know, but big bulky board games with loads of little pieces and things to move around and play with, you have no idea how much I drool over this Kickstarter games. It’s just in reality I know noone in my real life who I could ever convince to play any game like this with.

I really should, even though I suck at strategy games. I do find the very dark memes about the game to be pretty hilarious. I’m just currently in the middle of anime X-COM at the moment, Fire Emblem: Three Houses, and I’ll probably be picking up Evil Genius 2 when that drops in 10 days.

The sequel is looking really cool, and its got Brian Blessed as an Evil Genius and Samantha Bond (aka Miss Moneypenny from the Brosnan Bond films) as another Evil Genius.

i had a crappy laptop that could run disco elysium for three hours before dying horribly, but i haven’t been into pc gaming since… maybe 2004 or 5? whenever max payne 2 and counterstrike v1.6 were out

Ouch, that’s a lot of missed PC exclusives 
Good thing is you don’t need a very powerful and ofc pricey PC to run games such as Elysium and EG2 or other old exclusives that might interest you
