The trailer for this was one of the weirdest trailers by far editing-wise.
It reminds me of those over-edited TikTok videos done to promote something. Lots of neon colours and swirling camera motions.
EDIT: There will also be an obligatory DLC yahdi yada you know the format by now.

Just gonna repeat what I said on the discord:
I’m not supporting this. It’s bad enough you did a DLC for two months of limited time nature, then casually revealed during the mid-patch that the DLC would re-appear in re-runs. But now, you’re deliberately doing this to capitalise on the christmas holidays by running it for one month.
With the 007 First Light trailer that showed us nothing gameplay wise and was basically a goddamn car advert, and this, with it’s overstimulating trailer editing designed to look like a TikTok, and limited time DLC because that’s what the big-boys do! and you’re a big-boy AAA company now!
You are an embarrassment to your former pedigree IO. Shame on you.
I am so…unbelievably angry at you for doing the limited time DLC again.
At least with Fall Guys I know where I stand. See you in the New Year I suppose.

I don’t think I can really say what I think of this Elusive Target. I loathe rap music and find Eminem to be among the worst. At least I can just play this mission with the sound turned off and not have to hear his whiny voice…

@Dribbleondo Though I don’t always agree with the magnitude of your tone, I do agree with your disappointed sentiments regarding IOI as a grubby, sleazy corpo company.
@schatenjager You’ve described yourself as not musically-invested and because I respect you as a forum friend, I respect that – but I don’t freakin’ grok in the slightest how such a thing could be possible for a human being. Music is my joy, I must have music playing at almost all times if TV is not on, and as for Eminem, despite problematic past lyrics which are hard to listen to and account for with contemporary enlightened (aka woke) understanding, the man is a genius wordsmith with a genius grasp of melody, flow, and hooks. I don’t know his music super well but the guy is rightfully considered S-tier for a reason. Rap music is a wide genre, and there’s plenty to love and plenty to loathe – just like with my genre of choice, heavy metal. I hope one day you can find some music that moves your soul.

I like a lot of music, actually. I enjoy a lot of metal music. I enjoy certain less-twangy country music. I like pop music, new age music, folk music, swing music, classical, etc. I just don’t like rap (I also don’t like poetry so that’s probably related). Eminem may be a truly gifted wordsmith if you like rap music, but I don’t so I don’t like what he has to say either and don’t find him particularly talented or worth listening to, but that’s Ok.
I tend to play games with the music turned off so I can listen to what I want instead of what the game developers think I ought to listen to. I do not listen to anything when driving though and am just as happy to sit in silence as to listen to something. It just isn’t important to me but I don’t like what I don’t like.

I get the driving in silence thing though. We’re older guys. You gotta be paying attention to the potential hazards all around you on the road.

If I said I was uninterested wholesale, I exaggerated. And yeah, back to the game!
One more Celebrity ET left and I hope so much that that’s it. In fact, other than adding all ETs in to be able to play in their original forms without the Arcade objectives, I hope there’s no more content at all, just fixes. Don’t add anything else to the game, IOI; it’s causing you to lose focus, get greedy, and just break everything that’s already there the more you add. Wrap it up, fix everything broken, and let the game enjoy its retirement years.
As for the the next ET after M&M, I’m hoping for-
