Yes or No...? 2

Yes is the only option probably though I heard a few NOs, which brought me here to ask it again. Someone even said “I’ll pirate the songs then I won’t be supporting them” ://

  • Vice City Stories

To be clear, I think Vice City is the better game, but I enjoy the story in Stories more.

Being a PSP/PS2 only game, VCS really doesn’t age well. R* didn’t bother to re-release it either despite LCS’ mobile port. But it’s nonetheless a great game because:

  1. Vic can swim. Tommy was very unfortunate to be hydrophobic in a city which cover I dunno… 70% of its surface in water.

  2. A criminal empire system. It earns Vic daily paycheck and offers some degrees of end-game content. Taking over other enterprise buildings works similar to gang territory in SA. It can be annoying when Shark gang runs you over in their 4x4 sometimes.

  3. Lance Vance actually dances.

  4. Phil freakin’ Collins! Yes!

But I understand VC is more popular. It has great songs, great actors, and memorable story moments, plus the fact it was developed in such a short period of time. They will never make a game close to its status again.

I am more on the no side. Even if Jeremy Soule had been condemned, I would always have loved and listened to his wonderful Elder Scrolls music. And if someone is proved guilty, he will pay the price for what he did.

We’ve been a part of some of the most notorious street criminals in video game history. First came the love and laughter as we bonded over shared vices and illegal actives, followed by the blood and tears of fallen loved ones who became lost to us forever. Since loyality is everything to each of them, we obviously can’t join more than one group, so who would you pick as your family? Not the one Vin Disel can’t stop mentioning of course.

  • Salieri Family
  • Clemente Family
  • Corleone Family
  • Third Street Saints
  • Grove Street Gang
  • Sun On Yee
  • Dutch’s Gang
  • Yakuza
  • The Lost
  • The Warriors

Not going to lie Naz but I think you needed to go a bit more granular for “Yakuza” given that could mean anything from one of the GTA gangs to a clan from the actual series.

I see your point. I meant the Yakuza from the Yakuza series. I could be wrong but I don’t recall a Yakuza gang you can join in GTA.

Kazuya’s clan was called Tojo Clan for future reference. I can’t remember Majima’s from the top of my head.

And you would be wrong because you work for the Yakuza in both III and Liberty City Stories. Though Claude betrays them in his revenge quest.

True, but working for them is not the same as joining them.

Thanks, I should’ve looked them up.

No Leone family?

Seemed more like we were an outside contractor then a member. Pretty much the case with all the gangs in GTA 3.

There’s also the Yakuza in GTA2

Oh yeah but as Naz said, you don’t belong to them as a member but rather you work for them. And again you betray them and kill their leader.

Majima´s was also Tojo Clan. But they were members of different families within that clan (Kiryu was part of the Dojima Family, Majima part of the Shimano Family until he made his own).

Also, it´s Kazuma, not Kazuya

Ah well thanks, it is a lot to keep track of and I only started with 0.

Well you play as Toni Cipriani in LCS and will even get made later down the story, so I’d say it counts as well. Toni and Don Salvatore have good chemistry in the game too.

Damn, I completely forgot about that game. Hard to keep track of all the spin offs.

Been considering a slight name change but I remain undecieded about it. What are your two cents?

  • I like Nazareth
  • I like Naz for short
  • Mr. Nancy (American Gods Character)

Maybe give a bit of an explanation to why you want to change your name?

Nazareth is pretty much baked into your profile there, but if you have a need to change it to something you relate to, it’s probably a good reason
