I noticed that if you free Smith, and then kill Akka and hide her body in her office while all the pirates are searching for him, as well as leave some guns on the ground outside her office before you do so the two guards outside her office leave before she enters, if you do all these things and stay in her office until the search for Smith ends, the two guards come back, enter her office like they do when she’s there and talks to them, and they just stand there staring at her desk and they don’t leave. So, if you are hiding in the container with her body when they come in, you will be seen, and are screwed. So if you do these steps, don’t hide in the container; climb through one of the windows and jump down from the ledge when the search ends. Otherwise, avoid killing her in her office altogether unless you poison her drink.
Probably an oversight rather than intent, but currently sniper rifles are legal to carry in guard disguises on Ambrose.
And the comments some people calling it overpowered and wanting a nerf
gdi this weapon is gonna get removed isnt it? Everyone is always looking for the next e-phone cant have any cool shit
Yo. The durian is emetic. If you throw it, it bursts and sprays a cloud that makes people sick. Nice.
All challenges done, that was really fun to do blind. I missed that sensation.
And I apparently played enough of the level beforehand to go to mastery level 20 with them, and no grind.
The molotov is quite useful, but clearly not for me. It’s also * experimental * in its mechanic, and I appreciate that.
The Emetic Gas Grenade is legal to carry, but suspicious to throw at NPC. So I could see some use. It’s basically a one time use Sieker 1 that use the item slot instead of a new Emetic Briefcase. Could be useful. Could be quickly forgotten. I’m unsure.
As for the Guerilla Wetsuit, well it goes particularly well with a TAC-4 S/A Jungle on the back, and a ICA DTI Stealth in hand.
For all your “I want to play lethal stealth today” needs. Voiced by Michael Ironside
I’m off to Sapienza to try it.
I listened to a local talk to a guard about a ghost story regarding the Blue Widow. Apparently, she is a ghost who visits the colonial ruins prison and has been sighted outside the prison’s main gates at night, waiting to see her husband one final time. Her husband being one of the prisoners that was transported to the island a few centuries beforehand. This is bound to be an easter egg of some kind, and I’m wondering if it has anything to do with the skeleton’s bone finger lockpick. Or it could be nothing. It might be worth checking out if you’re a ghostbuster.
You can find the local and the militia guard at the silted village. They’re stood around an oil drum fire opposite the restaurant where Crest eats his meal.
Damn I wish one of the unlocks for Ambrose was a kerambit… (would require a few new animations but man would I love it…)
I don’t think I’ve seen this concept art before. It looks absolutely stunning and vibrant with color.
Wonder why they ended up going with the grey, dull version in the end. This look would instantly make me wanna replay the mission more.
Concept art has that effect on people.
Sure, concept art is often better looking than the end product, but I’m mostly reacting to the choice of vibrance vs grey, which I’m pretty sure has nothing to do with the quality of the art. Santa Fortuna is fucking drab looking.
You know, this post made me realize something: with the exceptions of the ICA Training Facility, Hawke’s Bay, Dubai, Dartmoor and Romania, every single other map in WoA has some kind of underground area. Whether it’s a basement, a laboratory, a hideout, a parking garage, etc., there is some kind of lower level to every map except those specific five (and the sniper maps, clearly, but they don’t count for obvious reasons).
It’s drab in comparison to the concept art yeah. But the concept art is looking into the path of the sun and there is still overcast in the sky. I know what you mean though.
First at all, great video.
Btw, I’m a bit concerned about this: it seems it’s even more op than the electro phone, judging by the double Colorado kill.
Most main targets and ET will be a piece of cake at this point.
I was a bit disappointed with the proxy kill, why must it always be a push? We needed something more orignal. Then you can explode Akka , but she doesn’t fly off the ledge, she just collapses on the floor. Quite lame. Also, two burning accident challenges? They could at least have worked in another explosive accident. Still, the map is fun , just that jungle section is very confusing for me. Now to design some cool contracts for this map…
Look, I really don’t care that much, and I don’t want to complain about anything. I don’t care that much about OP items, I barely use them so much. It was just an observation, nothing more.
I see your point btw, I ‘m fine with the molotov as unlock, I wouldn’ t even care if they give us the e-phone again.
No please, this is the coolest gadget we got in a long time, and I don’t care if its OP, its loads of fun!
It’s not always. Remember that the Kashmirian shoots two targets, Vidal is shot, and Diana stabs Yates. Having said that, when it’s two targets together, yeah, I’d like to see one target pull out a gun and shoot the other, or a knife, or a hammer and hit them in the head, or have a non-target NPC get in a car and speed out of the map, running over the target on the way, things like that. As it is, why couldn’t Crest have pulled out his gun and shot Akka before she could push him over, make him the outsource with a weapon kill?
Better yet, Akka pushes him, he gets a few shots off before going over. Double proxy kill. NOICE!
Oh boy, THAT would have been cool! I can just picture it. He spins around, shoots her in the face, she collapses, he lights a cigarette, then BOOM! They BOTH fly off the ledge!
