AMBROSE ISLAND, Andaman Sea (Mission #7) - Location Discussion

Actually, I think @MrButtons’s idea up there of a double proxy kill happening simultaneously would be more enjoyable than adding another explosion to the mix. Unless, she’s got a cigarette at the moment he shoots her and one of the bullets from his gun hits the gas tank near them and when she falls back dying the cigarette hits the fumes and finishes them both.

I was very tired as i played after a long work day but im 90% sure crest has lines about grey

There are at least two:

  • In one of the cells in the ruins where Noel Crest’s militia are set up (opposite the cell with Lance Hsu).
  • On a shelf in the metal worker workshop inside of Akka’s camp (opposite the fence gates that lead to her house and the radio tower).

There is also one in the treasure chest with the Buccaneer suit.

Now you’re on to something! Or perhaps have two options. 1) get the photos to akka. 2) get the photos to Akka and then somehow warn Crest of what’s gonna happen.

Things for the next game I guess.

I don’t like OP items. I think even the Sieker and emetic briefcase option should be removed. The fun in Hitman is figuring out the puzzle of someone who is not too easy to get to. Having an easy, on-hand solution to every kill kind of takes away that puzzle.

I do see how it’s cool with some change to the formula from a speedrunning perspective, but they’re in the minority, so…

I just opt for not using them though, so it doesn’t really matter to me. But I do think the game would be better without any lazy options.

While understandable, there are some play and kill options that simply aren’t possible without those items. For those of us who like suit only playthroughs, without those items, specific kill conditions are denied us if the “OP” options are removed, and so I hope they never get rid of them. They aren’t so much “lazy” options as they are work around a for us suit only or no knockout people… or just those, like me, who can’t stand removing the gloves, and so can’t get appropriate disguises to perform certain actions without them.

I think it’s fine due to being illegal to hold and resulting in explosive device kill if you throw it too close to the target, as well as the fact that the fire effect has a wide radius means you have to isolate the targets from any non targets.

Meanwhile the phone was an 100% free kill that involved no illegal moves and all you had to do was placing a phone at their feet.

I think the only “nerf” it really needs is for it to be treated like a weapon if left on the ground so guards pick it up and take it away if they see it.

All right boys let’s enjoy it while it lasts!

I wonder how difficult it would be to change that item so its fire kills void SA. Can they do that without changing every other fire kill? Seems difficult from a programming perspective — or maybe it’s just a switch they pull and that’s that.

Hell no. Do that, you might as well get rid of it completely.

Yes, it was previously found in files, but was not used until now. So technically not new, but it is new since it appeared in actual game

I guess? Or, like any explosive or concussive duck, it’s still a fun item to use but it’s just harder to use SA?

Alternatively maybe they can patch the wallbang out.

Yeah, that’s fair. But to me, having the Emetic Syringe or Emetic Grenade is just far more appropriate than the Sheiker. It works fine, but it’s not too easy. And the briefcase option… don’t get me started, so damn boring and basically game breaking.

Marrakesh and Colorado for me. I don’t love them by any stretch of the imagination but I used to hate them and they’ve certainly grown on me.

Awesome.

Now to figure out if there’s a good SA/SO Sniper run. (tried sniping them while they’re meeting in the house, but the fucking guards notice the bodies almost immediately)
