BERLIN, Germany (Mission #3) - Location Discussion

Less weird than stripping all the clothes off your dead friend moments after his death.

Diana - ‘47, whats your status?’
47 - ‘I’m removing Grey’s boxer shorts.’
Diana - ‘Why 47?’
47 - ‘I’m going to wear them. To honour him. We were brothers Diana’.

If I go for Green I usually also kill both Swan and Davenport since both of them can be eliminated from the same roof where he roams. You can also setup some traps so that the agents kill themselves and you don’t have to wait around, for example, scooter explosion for Thames, gas cylinder explosion for Swan and poisoned drink for Davenport.

Ah ye I see what you mean. Swan with a disco ball on the head and Davenport with the bricks? I forgot all about the scooter for Thames too, that’s a good one.

This will sound strange but I usually avoid accident kills in these games because it always feels a bit like Wiley Coyote and Roadrunner with all of these traps hanging or waiting precariously in spots where targets wander haha.

I like to roleplay and get up close and personal.

I’ve been putting a list together of all the possible kills for each of the 9 targets. I was wondering if it might be worth turning into a topic for each mission? I know there are technically unlimited kill methods such as throwing a duck at someones head and then snapping their neck but I mean just the general ones that the game seems to have ‘intended’ if that makes sense.

Yep, those are what I meant.
In this mission I enjoy a little different roleplay by setting a trap and then killing another target just when the target dies in the trap to make the others think that 47 is some kind of a magician who can be in two places at the same time. :joy:
I’d like to see that list too if you want to post it, I think I have found most of the possibilities too but there must be something I don’t know about.

@Beldingford Haha. The thing I find weird about accidents is the way npcs carry on after the dead body has been dragged away by a guard who is just like “ffs someone else got hit by a piano and I have to clean it up”

Sure here you go. Sorry for the very long post, these are a direct copy of my notes but I added your scooter kill in too for Thames just now:-

  1. Activate crane with Fuse Cell from dumpster near the 2 guards nearby and use it to drop pipe on him
  2. Shoot car near the entrance just past the 2 guards nearby when he is closest to the car to lure him over there then kill him
  3. Drop a bag of bricks on his head from the Overpass above
  4. Create a leak on the scooter that he stands near to blow him up

GREEN

  3. Get the Bartender disguise from the changing room and tend the juice bar then poison the drink with either the Lethal Poison pills that Agent Rhodes drops or the Emetic Rat Poison from near the food delivery guy and serve him. If you used the Emetic Rat Poison, after this drown him in the toilet where he goes to throw up

DAVENPORT

I noticed that when I started in the queue, that if I run back towards the woods, that Price hasn’t spawned in.
I know story wise, he is essentially fed to 47 as a plot device to obtain the earpiece, but thought it was worth mentioning.

Nice, thanks for this, I didn’t know you can lure Thames with a car alarm and kill Montgomery alone in the owner’s office, though you already mentioned those earlier. Here are some others I have found.

CHAMBERLIN

  1. Serve him poisoned water, emetic doesn’t work because he will go to a bathroom with three other people in it lmao. There are also other people in front of him so be careful to not poison them instead.
  2. Throw a cocaine brick through a fan when he’s on the dancefloor, he will go throw up in the nearby security room bathroom.

BANNER

  1. Simply push him over the railing after distracting the two technicians.

SWAN

  1. You can shoot him to the ditch when he’s smoking. You can shoot from the roof where agent Green is, not sure if a handgun is powerful enough but at least with a sniper rifle it’s easy once you find the right spot to shoot from. No one should see him die.
  2. Push him to the ditch at a different spot.

MONTGOMERY

  1. Electrocute him with the same water cooler you can kill Chamberlin with. He doesn’t walk to that spot by himself but it’s not that hard to pull off. Actually the first kill I ever did in this mission, I just stabbed the water cooler just when he was about to enter the room and he got distracted by the water leak.

There might also be other ways to eliminate him since he has a long route but I actually haven’t followed him around that much.

The club owner meeting can also be used to kill four others - Banner, Thames, Davenport and Chamberlin (I’m pretty sure it was those four but you might want to ensure it). Note: Montgomery’s “bodyguard” will find the bodies so you better dispose of him in advance.

Thanks Beldingford. I forgot about pushing Banner over the railing and pushing Swan into the water ha. Ye the Montgomery kill is great because as soon as you shoot him in the back of the head he falls into the sewer and his body is instantly classed as hidden. The other cool part is the other 4 targets that you mentioned (or 4 beaus Thames would be dead) surround the room while he is in there searching for 47 and because I kill him as the final of the 5 targets then Jiao calls the rest of them off and you can see them leave like they are scared of 47 ha.

Its great to see all the possible methods too.

I’m doing the same with Alexa Carlisle now on the Dartmoor mission

My pleasure. I just tried pushing Swan to the ditch again and it was actually easy to SA, didn’t even have to distract anyone. I don’t know how I’ve always fucked that up before.

Another thing I consider intentional is that you can distract one biker, then knock out Lowenthal and fry him in the incinerator.

EDIT: Okay, I tried pushing Montgomery in the shaft in the club owner’s office and the game crashes every time. Needs fixing.
Did some more investigating and it’s not just the push that crashes the game, shooting him did as well. Seems like I’m not the only one whom this has happened to.

Oh ye I took a look at the incinerator method the other day but it felt like there were so many guards around. I ended up KOing 3 or 4 to set it up ha. Still seems like a possibility though like you said.

That’s really weird about Montgomery as I haven’t had a crash in the game yet. I wonder what is causing it. I’ll make a video later and post it here

I didnt do exactly that but I did a similar thing and got a different glitch, I shoot him in the back on the head (silenced) , he falls in, and if I run out and behind the other guys that have amassed at the far-most door it’s possible to catch them t-posing for a second or so

I have 4 kills already making Montgomery the fifth, think it’s something to do with the radio message they get after.

Haven’t seen any t-posing in any other level but it did make me laugh that the last game I played was cyberpunk 2077 so its almost like it followed me across

@Beldingford Here is the video I mentioned of my usual method. Just a rough run but you can see me shooting him in the head at about the 12:30 mark:-

Theres a Camera right above the bell you can ring though.

The food delivery brand is called Schnelli, which is quite amusing. Translated it would mean fast, but with a belittlement (Verniedlichung, if that’s even the right translation for it) If you want to achieve this effect on a word in German, you often just add an “i” at the end of a word, to make it sound cute or funny.
Dog = Hund = Hundi.
But in the case of the word fast = Schnell = Schnelli it just sounds retarded.
I hope that you get my point, it’s difficult to explain.

Taking out the 5 agents who come for Hirschmuller is a quick and fun way to get to SA, if you can pull it off.

I think it´s just a play on the combination of the words schnell and deli, and I like it

I’ll be honest, maybe it’s because I just don’t know the map all that well, but after my first 1-hour playthrough of this map tonight, I’m not feeling it. So far, it might be my least favourite map.

It’s not bad, but just very overwhelming right now. Getting the same vibes I got from Mumbai – it’s often claustrophobic and very labyrinthine.
The club atmosphere is awesome though with the thumping dance floor and surrounding areas. The fact that there’s so many targets to choose from is so cool, though I found hunting some of them to be a bit tedious, as you’ve got to find the right guard then wait for him to stop moving and call into the ICA.

I found the Club Owner opportunity the first time and it was damn cool, I’ll tell ya that. Seeing this smug Agent know I’m disguised, slowly calling all his buddies in the room… I flipped the desk and ran the other way lol. Didn’t trust myself to make it through that, but at least I know that’s a good way to get 5 kills.
Ah yeah, about the kills, if you play the mission again, does it remove the forced exit after the 5th kill? I was taking my sweet time getting Tremaine’s sniper rifle to the Radio Tower, and as I shot him – my 5th target kill – it immediately cut to the exit, and that was pretty anticlimactic. I was hoping to exact my master sniper plan there!

I feel for you. It probably is the one overwhelming map upon first playthrouh. It gets better with subsequent ones though. You´ll find out it´s not such a maze as it appears to be.

Did you miss the shotgun? :smirk:

No, I saw it, but I thought, “Wait! What if one of these guys has a special Assassination challenge related to them?” So I turned tail and ran.
Luckily they all go back to their normal routines after a bit, so I think I managed to kill one of those ambushers with a sniper.
