To be clear; in a rerun after your 5th kill the other agents will flee. You can pick any exit you want be you have to be quick if you want to kill all the agents because the will run off the map. So either be quick or subdue a bunch and then kill 5 of them so you still have time to kill them all in 1 mission
Iām almost done with Chongqing now, I see what you meant. Holy shit this map is large. Pretty overwhelming TBH.
Have yet to SASO Berlin, but have some thoughts. This missionās atmosphere is amazing. The lights, thumping music, the sick dance floor, all mesh together so WELL. It being more tonally serious towards the beginning was great, and felt more theatrical than the Dubai skydiving intro. I mean, that gas station with the red neon and wet road?? I wish we could see the concept art for that. Stunning. (Def gotta paint that sometimeā¦). In a way, itās like they took Absolution and upgraded it with Berlin. The bikers and all the references to drugs were handled in a less teenage way andā¦man, itās so good.
Completely agree with you. The intro part with the forest + the gas station made this mission soooo much better, really made me feel completely alone in the dark, after Diana was compromised and Grey was killed.
Also having the biker hideout was prolly one of my fav parts of the mission. Bikers in general remind me of Contracts and Codename 47, which is always a great feeling. Really made the mission have a classic feel
Are the any areas the Bikers arenāt allowed in? Being able to start as one feels a bit overpowered.
Some night club guards even forbid the entry to parts of the club, but strangely youāre allowed in the area they donāt want you to go.
Interesting to note also that Bikers seems to be one of the very few disguises that is legal to carry the sniper rifle.
Hehe. Also reminds me of a samurai jack episode, where he starts in a silent place, goes into the woods, hears music come louder, k.oās one of the party people, takes his clothes to blend in to then get at a rave. Takes me backā¦
Arenāt all of the large maps a little overwhelming the first go? They are for me, but learning them over time is a big part of the fun of the series. Thatās also why the mission stories exist (though I use āminimalā guidance), to get you used to the map that first awkward go.
Definitely. Hypothetically, If I were to visit any location in H1 or H2, Iād be able to find you all the screwdrivers in the area (or any item). I have a pretty good memory but Chongqing just seemed like a maze for my first 2 playthroughs. Iām sure itāll get easier to navigate.
I still think Paris is pretty overwhelming, even compared to the new maps.
Going for SASO I was pleasantly surprised that itās possible to be DJ and do the light show kill in a suit.
Berlin is definitely one of the top five locations in the trilogy.
a sheet of the Berlin graffiti by Daniel Johansson. absolutely crazy work they put into making all the graffiti unique in this level
I just realized in this mission we can utilize the targetsā guard AI for our own benefit. Not only they will be investigating distractions even if some non-guard NPC is a little closer to that but we can also lure them with gunshots. With that in mind I decided to do a bit different run. That surely was hard to pull off in one go due to RNG bullshit.
This is a true sandbox. Sure itād be nice to have more mission stories (as it would in all missions) but the fact itās literally a sandbox where you can do anything (and the targets use more manipulatable guard AI than other levels) makes it the most replayable level in H3. Happy with this one most of all, except maybe Mendoza.
I wish IO would let us choose if we want to show the targets on instinct or not. It was very funny to play without the targets marked again (i played it for the āfirstā time again because of the transfer data erasing my first playthrough)
Effectively, you can choose that by starting at the bus stop again.
Oh yes? Thatās great. Thanks
Do we know who the handler is? I would like her to be featured in a bonus mission or anything else.
