Also, I wonder what happens if you have cross-progression enabled between two platforms, start the same Elusive Target on both platforms, fail it on one and then complete it on the other. ![]()

Absolutely the fuck not.
That was more referring to the time it took to get Epic to Steam cross progression. Admittedly that isn’t obvious.
The FAQ mentions you can only play on one session at a time.
This is purely my own wishful thinking.
That said, since the re-release of "Sarajevo Six” and ”Undying” was once deemed “impossible” yet still happened, I don’t think this hope is necessarily 0%.

I was responding to the idea of unlocking the Xbox suit on PlayStation by buying the Xbox version of the game.
Is that what you were saying or did I misunderstand ?
I have a question: can you do the carry over in two directions?
In my case, I have almost everything unlocked on my Xbox account, including the Disruptor stuff, except for the Bruce Lee black karate outfit.
On Nintendo Switch I’m starting over again, but there I do have that black karate outfit.
Can I complete my inventory on both accounts?
Currently, you can only select a suit color specific to the platform you’re playing on, right?
If you bought the PS version, you only get the blue suit; if you bought the Xbox version, you only get the green suit.
However, the upcoming update will allow cross-platform data transfer.
This means, for example, if you own both the PS and Xbox versions, you’ll possess suits for both platforms.
But if the specifications remain unchanged, you’ll still only be able to use the blue suit when playing on PS and the green suit when playing on Xbox.
It seems like a waste to own both versions of HITMAN WoA and still be limited like this.
That’s precisely why I posted my earlier comment, hoping that platform suits could be tied to the IOI account, allowing you to switch between them regardless of the platform you’re playing on.
This is purely my personal wish; none of this has been officially announced.
However, if IOI hears this kind of feedback on the forums, I think there’s at least a non-zero chance it could happen, similar to how cross-progression was implemented this time.
It’s not about what can or can’t be done right now; it’s about subtly expressing a wish for how things might be in the future. That’s the intent behind my post.
I agree that those platform specific suits should be available on every platform but not via buying the game on other platforms.
I don’t care that it’s the logical way to do it , it’s still bad. I’m not buying the game 5 times just for suits.
From the start, platform suits are exclusive to the platform where HITMAN WoA is purchased, so naturally you can’t obtain them without buying the game.
This discussion stems from the implementation of cross-progression,
and assumes you’ve purchased HITMAN WoA on two or more platforms.
It does not address the scenario where you’ve only purchased it on one platform.
Whether you choose to buy HITMAN WoA on multiple platforms is entirely your decision, and not obtaining it is the result of your choice.
It’s simply that—nothing more, nothing less.
Again , I don’t care if that’s the logical way.
Its better to have only one platform specific suit than giving you the option to get them all by buying the game 5 times.
This is good. The PC version is my second copy and I use it for modded content only, but if this is groundwork for cross-platform multiplayer then it will be where I play that so I can avoid the PS+ tax on console and still earn unlocks should they have any for that mode.
Usual unlocks are shared, but DLC content is locked to a platform where you have a DLC.
You have to buy that DLC on secondary account to get access to stuff that gives corresponding DLC.
As for platform-specific stuff, there is no clarification yet, but I assume it will stay on a platform where it’s exclusive to, i.e. will have DLC-like mechanic
I fail to see how that answers my question, sorry.
For what I understand: there is no “mix the progressions in a single pool” , what you would want to do. @Franz
You will designate one platform at the start of it, and its progression will become the one that will then be shared by all, cutting in front of and overwriting any others as long as cross-progression in on.
Then it will be in sync.
Native progressions of other platforms will just be put aside and irrelevant as long as cross-progression in on.
I think.

I wish if it detects you own H1 or H2 on other platform that it gives you the black winter suit and other items. I own H1-H2 on xbox but WOA on Steam. Maybe even some code to redeem on your IOI account at least.
Re the platform suits:
I just checked an old extracted copy of my profile data. The game does send something out to the servers to mark the suit for the platform as awarded in the player profile (see the screenshot below of something that got triggered at H3 launch), so potentially this signal will get sent off if you’re playing on Steam but the servers are connecting to a PlayStation player profile too and will unlock the PC suit? ![]()

Hopefully @IOI_Artjoms will be able to answer.
Honestly I wonder why they couldn’t have these suits appear simply from linking your Xbox/PSN/Apple/etc. to your IOI account.
