Featured Contracts

Symphony of Destruction was interesting. Took a lot of practice getting the timing and placement right for where to throw a propane tank and when to quick-shoot it for the Florida Man kill and not blast him into the water. Plus being able to quickly change into the disguise.

I don’t expect any of my high scores to last, I am not a speed runner. Though I do try to be as efficient as possible, I don’t risk the SA rating.

I am interested when I get to my two featured contracts, as I did use the electrocution phone in the creation. However, when I was play-testing in the creation tool, I did do runs where I didn’t use it as I try to make sure there are multiple solutions. A couple of exceptions are ones that I submitted that had a restricted load out based on requirements or kill conditions: Ultra Heavy Beat had 4 kills on Bangkok with explosive devices as Abel (so all load out had explosive devices) and Bizarre Love Triangle (again on Bangkok) had fall accidents with no pacification (load out can vary, but only single opportunities for the kills).

Which ones did you create?

Cleaning House (Whittleton Creek) for Spring Cleaning - May 2020 and Ambulance Chaser (Sapienza - Landslide) for Crash Course - June 2020.

Ambulance Chaser I struggled with during the creation and went through a few iterations before I settled on the final product. I didn’t think much of it, but was pleased it was selected.

Cleaning House remains one of my favourites that I submitted. Everything came together nicely when creating it as a contract and for the theme that I knew I had something special, and I was excited when it became my first featured contract.

I do have a couple of ideas for the new maps and need to go back in my notes for other ideas I had that I never got to create or submit.

Those were good.

Ambulance chaser requires a certain degree of skill for sure. I forget my time on that one. 3 or 4 minutes.

This one was a bitch. In H2, the lady in the vault talking to the security guards wouldn’t see the vault guard through the doorway. NOW of course she does so you need to get him out of the way.

I spawned in the garage and used a taser for the accident kill. Nice run.

That works too. But the bank robber isn’t a suit.

And Ambulance Chaser has to be my favorite title so far. I was wrong on time, I got 7:01 with no intention on replaying. Well maybe lol. I got it down way less on Hitman2 but just wanted to complete it SA.

Cleaning House was awesome though. So many cleaning contracts I get them mixed up. “Janus’ explosive party” contract.

I’ve been doing these by location. I was working on the contracts from Miami… then I came to that one where you have to kill a guy with consumed poison as the (all white racer disguise). He didn’t even leave the bar to come by the food stand where you can catch him. This is another one that’s up there with Houdini’s Great Escape in terms of frustration. I did eventually complete it in H2, but it’s hard to recall what I did.

Thinking on it now… Maybe tranq gun to get the vendor disguise, then remote emetic (thingy) to get rid of the gal that stands next to you. And hopefully the guy will get to you in time to kill him - and still make the exit.

Edit: Tranq gun is enough. :sunglasses:

The Last Duck…

The gal moves for you sometimes. Or throw a propane tank like nax did here. IIRC I did the same.

I’m officially burnt out. I’m taking a break for a bit as I barely sleep and need my sanity lol. I get too fixated on shit that isn’t important in real life and it takes a while for me to notice. My other half keeps telling me to get more sleep and stop coming to bed as she’s waking up for work (5:15am). I also work and take our 8 month old with me as my family owns our own business.

I do love this community and Hitman but goddamn I’m just mindlessly playing at this point.

I see Prey is getting a Series X FPS boost later today so I’ll pick that up and see how it is. I doubt it’s addicting as Hitman , which is the most addicting game I’ve ever played.

Sorry for the rant

Nah, I feel that. Hitman is definitely a game with serious burnout after a while. It’s good to acknowledge it and take a break dude :green_heart:

Houdini’s Great Escape in a nutshell:

Thankfully it’s done after a couple of hours. A bit painful with incorrect target picking up taser, getting spotted, and on one of my last runs my fibre wire wasn’t selected and I knocked out the last target, under time. D’oh!

@ColdDayInHell I managed to record the video with the Xbox capture featured, it’s in my profile.

Wait! You can shoot locks with the regular pistols now? :astonished:
You used the ICA19 Silverballer Mk II.

I never knew that there’s a portable radio in the sheiks room!

The only one I know it works with is the Silverballer.

Only in Paris IIRC, just the Sheik’s room.

I see you got some inspiration from my run IRT using the Sieker on Novikov’s bodyguard from the railing

That was solid, hopefully I never have to play that one again.

It’s the only practical option on H3. I tried baiting him up the stairwell a few times, but he’d always turn around. So I had to use the balcony and fireworks.
