HITMAN 3 announcements

To be honest, I never really looked at the mini map, because I didn’t understand how it worked  so I just didn’t used it because I’m an idiot. I also didn’t knew that I can turn it off. Will do that in H3.

99% of my mini map use is to quickly find doors/entrances/exits, so I don’t have a strong opinion on H3’s minimap

I prefer it being a separate category but I hope global challenges don’t count forwards a location total.

I like the gun sound effects, short cuts as well. Would love to see more (oh please don’t make separate videos just for a single feature, this could’ve been a part of the main gameplay reveal but eh whatever).

I play the new trilogy with no HUD elements, dont like the constant pop-ups of discovering something or any associated sound effects. Just pure gameplay bliss. I memorize the number of bullets in a guns mag and then go from there. Best way to experience the game

Boring feature, sorry.

Edit: Also I don’t like how 47 holds the weapon.

I hope this is the case, but due to how 47 holds his gun. My god, the horror…

I just hope we can place a bomb on it an blow it up while he´s in air.

What now? Is it the gun from the beta, or is it something else? I dont get it. Wasnt the Blackballer in HItman 2 with the random gear mod? Im so confused.

The gameplay looks awesome so far, the animations look a bit more fluid, and overall the level looks amazing. But; like everyone mentioned, what is with that gun animation? And why are the colors still more or less the same…?

But what really scares me, he uses the ICA 19, and you can see something white, squared on it:

Is that another MK thing? Here the original ICA 19 in Hitman 2 without that white thing:

And here the Hawk Gun with the little MK2 on it;

Please no please no please no.

May I am wrong but the minimap has much more bloom as the Hitman 2 version.

Not really. It does look like some white texture, just slapped on the slide.

I mean if its that case, that its a sticker its at least better than a numbered sticker. If thats the case. But the pictures are not conclusive.

I mean they somehow have to cater to the people who only buy H3. Its not ideal but its no big problem either way.

It’s the preorder blackballer. Nothing to do with Mark 3 items.

Anyway I know he holds the gun weird now, so I was thinking that one of the few animations I’d want back is the way he holds the silverballer in that game.

I never really understood why so many people thought the Blackballer was in the game other than it was popular amongst the fans. To me that wasn’t the Blackballer and never was.

Just went and glanced through the challenges list to verify my theory. Yeah I think the big counter just isn’t counting the classical since they require finishing a level and are difficulty specific. It’s a shame it should be, only counting stuff you could theoretically do all in one run.

An example: Whittleton Creek and New York only have around 50-60 challenges when you remove the classics.

Or alternatively, there are no classics challenges.

Checked more: Miami has 67 without classics, Santa Fortuna has 56 without classics (around the same as Dubai), Mumbai has 73 without classics, Isle of Sgail has 62 without classics and Sapienza has 61 without classics. So I wouldn’t be worried.

I think it would be awesome if IOI released daily Finale trailers like they did for Hokkaido:

The red is definitely a darker red and the yellow is more amber/gold-coloured. I like that, but still not much of a fan of the colour bleed-in to the map.

There’s also the persistent vignette border which I have no idea why that wasn’t removed. Plenty of people dislike it and it really doesn’t help visibility or “the cool factor” of the minimap at all, in my humble opinion.

This really surprised me as well. Hawkes Bay had 47 challenges excluding the challenge packs. Unless they’ve significantly altered the classics challenges it appears that Dubai has fewer challenges than in the Bank, despite it being apparently a bigger level. I was expecting it to be the Miami of Hitman 3 but now I’m not so sure. Especially with Dartmoor sounding like it may only be one target, I figured that would be a smaller map content wise. I was planning on preordering in the next few days, being a long time fan of the series. But after the disappointing Special Assignments and Cyberpunks dissapointing launch, I’m hoping to hear a bit more about the game before I make a purchase. I hope they discuss the changes to the rating system soon, which may clear up my concerns.
