I’m excited for this. I guess my assumption reading between the lines was that IO was not going to support H3 the way they did H2 and give us a bunch of cool stuff each month, including new maps and sniper missions and all that, leading me to belive they would probably run out of steam have have each month be 2 normal type escalations and featured contacts, while occasionally bringing back the snow festival or whatever else they could get from the past 2 games.
I was wondering what the road map would look like for next month now that the deluxe escalations are done and figured this was probably all we were going to get. So to me, seeing that there will be whatever these things end up being for the next year or so was exciting. I wasn’t assuming we would get bonus missions, even if I really want them. I wasn’t assuming anything.
I agree that the price is a little much, but I’m excited. I also don’t think they will all be escalations. My guess is that they don’t even know what the next few ones will be and a escalation whiped up quickly for them to announce the DLC is what we will get first but that we might get better stuff later, whatever that ends up being. The issue with IOI has always been how much they change coarse and don’t really seem to have a set plan on stuff like this. They keep establishing a set of expectations and then go sideways with it. The deluxe escalation felt like they were having difficulty coming up with what to make the meat and potatoes of the deluxe pack be, so they came up with what they came up with. Then they do this dlc which doesn’t seem to have a nailed down plan for.
My assumption was that they wouldn’t support H3 that much after launch, even if they said they would, and my optimism for them doing this is that if this dlc pack makes them money, they may continue to support the trilogy over the next few years with good dlc content. If the first greed one doesn’t sell a bunch maybe they will say ok we need to do better and it will pick up, proving that its worth it for them to support the game with added paid dlc, which I’m fine with as long as its good.
I understand where people are disappointed, but this actually seems like a good thing to me.

it would be interesting, i’ll give it that. but IO wouldn’t even make Orson naked when he was in the shower.
This whole thing could of been a awesome What-If plot line based on the secret ending.
More special assignmenty but 6 levels of them ending in a bonus mission. Could of been taking out defectors and those opposing the new Providence. Could of had the new Suit as unlock and few more Providence themed items.
I’m almost sure would be 7 suits, 14 items, 7 escalations + 7 exclusive contracts. The only reason I purchased a deluxe edition + the preorder was for the shotgun, blackballer and the black briefcase. If there’s a sort of bonus missions or double ballers I’ll buy immediately, if not I’ll wait for a price drop. Ah a note for @Travis_IOI if accidentally you announce something concrete about future bonus missions I’ll buy it immediately.
