This sale has really affected the Year2 plan. I hope H3 can develop smoothly.
Just give it all free and send the die-hard supporters an ill-fitting T-shirt at their expense.
The H1/H2 maps in the demo are playable while online for me now. Is it working for anyone else?
EDIT: I think the game is trolling me, because I closed and re-opened it and theyâre flickering between accessible and inaccessible like before. I KNOW I was online before restarting the game, because I could look at the Mastery unlocks and you canât do that when offline.
The FSP queue is probably shared between all platforms (including Gamepass of course), like servers and workers are shared between all platforms too since October-November 2020. This is a change that IO made before Hitman 3âs release. When I asked if any changes will be necessary for hitmanstat.us at the time, this is what I was told.
But they kept the possibility to manage the status (e.g. for maintenances) individually (per service).

It had a queue of 60000 because it was completely broken and positions wouldnât actually be fulfilled or the queue moved, and every time you hit âretryâ youâd get a new position added to the queue. There were never 60k people in the queue, there were just a couple hundred people across several hours hitting retry to try to enter the game.
Why did they release Hitman 3 on steam with full price after a year? No one in marketing thought about it for at least a full minute.

This is not the feedback I got from the online team. It sounds like youâre talking about something you know when actually you donât.
I mean, I was right there, on the queue, getting a new position at the end of the queue every time I hit retry. Thatâs exactly what happened until about 10 hours in when the queue actually started to move. Literally nobody was able to get in before that.

And if I buy the Standard Edition, I should get a free upgrade to Deluxe, right?
Not sure what you mean about free, but buying Standard gives you free Deluxe and buying Deluxe gives you free 7DS, yes

So what about people who bought Deluxe and 7DS? Do they get anything at all? Maybe the new map, although it seems very unlikely that IO would give this away for âfreeâ to anyone.
New map should be free to all HITMAN 3 holders, just like The Garden Show.
Unless IOI will issue additional statement with map release details where they will say that the map will cost a few cents
I strongly doubt that the new map will be free. Given how much time and effort it would take to create, gambling giving it away for free with the hopes it will generate enough hype to get new players to buy the game to recoup the investment seems⌠extremely unlikely.

I still remember good old days when Hitman 2 Gold gave you all new content for free including 2 brand new maps. New reality is paid 7DS and maps

Personally I expect the map be free, but it wonât be a drama or a problem for me if it will be payable.

No way the new map is going to be free, they have to make money somehow, especially if theyâre doing a whole new year of content, Freelancer etc, somethings got to be paid for

There are opinions the mode will have microtransactions.
If it turns to be true (I wonât be surprised), here is where they will make money from

I would rather have them make the Rocky map a paid DLC, than adding microtransactions to Freelancer mode.
