Possible fix for PC users who cant get online

I posted this in r/HITMAN subreddit as well… Ive been reading that some people can delete the contents of C:\Users<USERID>\AppData\Roaming\IO Interactive\Epic\0d26eb5669b04fbf80ccd94d8492b825 and were able to get back online. Others have said it hasnt. Didnt work for me either. I think they may have missed a crucial step when describing and not realizing it.
